We met up with family for a Saturday morning breakfast as they go regularly. Lots of choice with different ceeals, yoghurts, dried and fresh fruit, pancakes, muffins, flapjacks, pastries, croissants and toast. Then there is the cooked breakfast! You can order exactly what you want...number of bacon rashers, sausages, hash browns, beans, eggs, tomatoes and mushrooms. Best of all....under 16s...

Don't bother eating next door - go to Chesterfield! Take your thermals if visiting in winter! But you don't go to Premier Inns for luxury - you go for value. It is what it is. The receptionists were friendly and helpful.

Staff were lovely and friendly, very helpful. Room had everything you could need. Stayed Sat and Sun nights, very quiet. In a stunning location, surrounded by countryside. Bar in the Beefeater with outside beer garden, which would be lovely in summer. Only negative for myself was at evening time, there is nothing else nearby and the Beefeater restaurant next door,...

Excellent value for short stay, with a warm welcome late at night returning from a wedding party four miles away. Lovely rural setting and restaurant facilities right next door, what more do you need? And the usual good standard of accommodation, warmth and cleanliness, will recommend highly. One note - get someone to look at the vending machine in Reception...

Good accommodation and food in pleasant surroundings which was very convenient to visit close family. Probably the most reasonably priced for location on edge of Peak District. Will stay again and would recommend.

Good stay apart from fire alarm problem. This woke us at about 9.15 p.m. We wanted an early night as it had been a busy weekend. We then had trouble getting back to sleep after this. Hotel in lovely position. We have stayed there several times before and always enjoy it's proximity to the Derbyshire Dales.
