I was taken to Wolds Village by the Mrs for an anniversary treat and what a treat it was. In the hours we were there we had coffee and cake - excellent, served by friendly, funny and efficient staff, dinner - I managed a 3 pie dinner - hand reared pork pie starter, steak and ale pie for main (while...

Called here on a tip from a friend to break the journey to Scarborough! What a treat! Lovely surroundings, gift shop and gallery with a very popular dining room. It was quite busy but we were seated and served very quickly, extensive menu with wonderful choices, as we were on a whistle stop we just decided on a snack, 3...

If you are visiting the Yorkshire Wolds this place is a fantastic stop for an overnight stay, a morning coffee,a tasty afternoon tea, lunch or dinner and it even has a shop and gallery which sell lots of interesting items from stunning art work to unusual gifts. There's a short woodland walk where the children can discover the hidden animals...

We were EXTREMELY disappointed by our visit here. This is not a hotel and its not a restaurant. Its a garden centre with a tea room masquerading as a restaurant. The rooms are quirky and perhaps when they were done several years ago they were considered quite quaint. Now they are tired and not cleaned acceptably. All the surfaces above...

What a nasty piece of writing which bears no resemblance to our business. I urge any reader to read on, can so many excellent reviews have got it so wrong. These were so very unpleasant people who for some reason have made up a pack of lies to try & damage our business.

We stayed here overnight having been to Beverley. The accommodation was interesting in a series of converted farm buildings including a shop, restaurant and art gallery . We had an evening meal and B&B. The food was excellent and the staff friendly and accommodating. Very high praise for our stay.

We have had several visits to wolds village, friendly staff ,its always immaculate and food delicious, and everyone must try the lovely cakes. Sunday lunch is also excellent. Then to end the day a stroll around the gift shop. Looking forward to our next visit.

We booked an overnight stay at Wolds Village after dropping in for a meal about six weeks ago. We wanted to take some time together to start our golden wedding celebrations. 0ur room was lovely with a four poster bed and everything was spotless. We had an excellent evening meal and a very hearty, freshly cooked breakfast this morning. The...

Had lunch here on a very hot day. It was lovely and cool in the restaurant. The food and service was excellent. Everything about the place was just lovely. There is so much more than a restaurant there is a shop and an art gallery as well as it being an hotel.

We love going to Wolds Village occasionally. The food is very good with plenty of choice and nicely served. The staff are always most pleasant and helpful and the whole area has a great atmosphere: we love to wander round the shop: they have an excellent supply of items for gifts or maybe just to treat yourself. It is nice...

In an area with seemingly few places to stay we were overnight here. Staff were all friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well equipped. Dinner was a mix of some homemade and lots of catering pack food. Staff were fine and food presented nicely. Breakfast freshly made and fine. Couple of walks in the grounds, both ok but...

Thanks for taking the time to review us. We are delighted that you had a good time with us. I must just question your comment that dinner was a mix of some homemade & lots of cater pack food. I am very unsure what you think was cater pack? We make almost everything on our menu from scratch here including...
