This was our fourth visit to L'Auberge du Petit Paradis. We discovered this hidden gem, in the Denholm area, several years ago. Meals are excellent and the service is exceptional. It is located about 50 minutes from Ottawa along the Paugan road near Poltimore, Quebec. If you are looking for a taste of class, in a beautiful log cabin, surrounded... More

We had a fantastic and romantic stay at Auberge du P'tit Paradis back in January. I surprised my boyfriend to a private dinner and a stay at the Royal room, followed by a day of skiing at Mont Ste-Marie for his birthday. We happened to be the only guests staying at the hotel that night, and since we were both... More

Auberge du P'tit Paradis truly is a hidden gem. The food is outstanding, and Lise and Christian are such wonderful hosts. The restaurant is worth a trip on its own, but I can strongly recommend staying a night in the Auberge as well. We had such a relaxing experience beginning with pre-dinner drinks by the fire, continuing by one of... More

We had a truly wonderful time at l'Auberge du P'tit Paradis! The owners are very warm and friendly, the rooms extremely comfortable, and our dinner there was among the best meals we've ever had, anywhere. Could not recommend them more highly.

We were staying at a nearby cottage and were keen to take a break from cooking. And since the area is more known for hunting, catching slaying and gutting your own food, we were a little surprised to find an auberge promising exquisite cuisine, personalized service in a luxurious setting. Auberge du P'tit Paradis is everything it says. It's small... More

Meals prepared by a Cordon Bleu trained chef, scenery reminiscent of a wilderness retreat and extraordinary hospitality. Ideal ambiance for a 30 year reunion! I plan to return for a spiritual retreat.

Four of us said good bye to 2013 in fine style at this magical B and B in a beautiful valley on the Paugan Dam Road only an hour or less from Ottawa. This is a fabulous place with every detail attended by either Lise or Christian. A cozy living room by the fireplace or a large living/dining room with... More

We have just come back from a very relaxing and delightful overnight stay and are thankful to have such a gem so close to Ottawa. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and found it to be a romantic hideaway. There are only four guest bedrooms, so it is a very personal, relaxed environment. We arrived in the early afternoon to... More

Our experience for dinner was everything can anyone can imagine and desire. Simply put it was outstanding. It is well worth the drive and if you are in the area it's a great way to support hard working, passionate and creative people. Christin uses local farms where possible and takes a lot of pride and ownership in his establishment. He... More

We have had dinner here twice in a month, following an excellent massage. Both times the food was superb, the owners attentive and welcoming, but not obtrusive. "Bring your own bottle" is an advantage for me, reducing the cost and increasing the range of possible wines. With the menu arranged in advance with the chef, you can find exactly the... More
