I never slept in this hotel but I used it's breakfast buffet one time. I was on a 5:30am train from Trondheim and when I got to Roros I wanted to have breakfast (also a way to wait for it to become light and explore the town). This hotel has a very large breakfast buffet and the nice thing is...

Nice old world hotel - with good size reception & lounges; note t old Chesterfield suites & chairs!? Bedroom about the size of a bathroom in other hotels - not enough space to open my suitcase!! Maze of corridors & ancient elevator. Nonetheless ok for one night!

Very nice hotel, friendly staff and fairly nice standard. The only problem was that the room was ridicilously hot (amazing when you think of the fact that Røros is one of the coldest places in Norway). The room was on the side of the sun and there is no AC (which makes sense as it's probably only needed a few...

This is a nice hotel consisting of a bar and a large dining area. Buffet style food available every evening in the summer. Also able to dine in the adjoining pub putting the bill on your room. A small fitness room is downstairs in the basement. My room was very basic to say the least but it is a very...

My husband and I enjoyed very much our stay in the hotel which is so central in Røros: shopping streets, supermarket, restaurants and cafe, and museum. The room is clean and nice. The atmosphere in Røros affected our mood about the hotel. Old style furniture in the lobby, some arts in different walls of the hotel seem to fit well....

The old mining town of Røros, a World Heritage Site, is well worth a visit, and Bergstadens Hotel is a fine place to stay in. Sumptuous, spacious lounge area, a very good room with its own little terrace, en suite bathroom with bath (NB: with the faucet placed on one of the long sides, not at the end!). Best thing:...

Problems already at check in, the price was different from what i ordered online. Took 15-20 minutes to sort this out. The room was old and worn. bathroom was supersmall, had to sit sideways on the toilet. Food: tried the dinnerbuffet - fair, but overpriced. And did not get the Scandic friends price. service: what about a smile?? Overall rating:...
