We only come to the Lake District if Netherdene has available rooms. Beautiful clean rooms, great views and location, delicious breakfast, and the best part: the Ratcliffe's; warm and welcoming. Dog friendly B&B. Highly recommended.

The problem with revisiting a place where you've had a really great time previously is that it is always hard to capture that 1st visit glow again. Although Dean is just as friendly & welcoming as ever, not being met on arrival on this occasion & having to let ourselves in did make it feel more like we were arriving...

When my car broke down outside their bed and breakfast on a cold and snowy winter's morning they came out, checked I was okay, and gave me a cup of tea. (And apologised that they couldn't invite me in because they were getting ready for their daughter's party - and I could see that they were very busy.) Thank you!...

Great b and b, easily accessible and very easy to get to the lakes and walks. We arrived early which wasn't a problem, Dean gave us a good walk to do in the afternoon a short drive away. This is very close to aira force as well. The room was perfect for us and the dog, a Labrador, the bed...

Stopped End October 2016. Conveniently located for the North Lakes, this is a very comfortable and friendly B&B. Welcomed with a pot of tea in the dining room with wonderfull views of Great Mell Fell. Our room was warm and cosy on a chilly Autumn evening. Clean and tastefully decorated with TV and tea / coffee making facility provided. The...

This bed and breakfast was very nice place to stay. The owner was so nice and gave good advise about how to see the Lake District. This property is very dog friendly. Because of that you see some wear on the furniture, but everything else is cute and cozy. The bathrooms are updated and they provide everything you may need....

We have stayed at the Netherdene B&B in Troutbeck many times over a number of years. The welcome is always warm and genuine. The rooms are clean and cozy. The breakfast is delicious and cooked to order. The Troutbeck Inn is across the road for local ales and an excellent evening meal. Not far off the M6 at Penrith ,...
