My wife and I have been here before and always found the host dean and steph welcoming and friendly. It is situated in a quiet area 5 miles north of ullswater and keswick to the west about 10 miles. The views having breakfast in the dining room are breath taking. The gardens in summer absolutely gorgeous. The accommodation is very...

I stayed here on an overnight stay on my way up to scotland. I am a "mature lady" and I was travelling on my own. The welcome I received was second to none. After being greeted at the door a pot of coffee in the sitting room was the first thing. While I was relaxing and drinking this my bags...

We arrived at Netherdene, at about 7.00pm after visiting Keswick Christmas light switch on. Dean came and introduced himself and offered a cuppa, sat and spoke with him for a time, and he was really welcoming. But we had to leave in the morning rather abruptly, due to a family emergency, as it was early we left a note explaining...

We stayed here for 2 nights in November. Such a good find. Dean was so welcoming and the coffee and biccies were a lovely, warm welcome. The room was very comfortable and homely. Just what you need when you've been out walking all day. The breakfast was excellent, I didn't have the full English but my hubbie did and he...

The room was clean and beautifully presented. Breakfast was incredible one the best we have had. We will...

Breakfast was amazing, Dean was more than accomodating, letting us have a lie in and having a breakfast a bit later............views whilst eating are amazing! I have stayed at this B&B several times between 2009 and 2014 , solo, as a couple and as part of a group. First thing is its very conveniently located close to the A66, easy to find but still quiet. Dean and Steph are incredibly welcoming and helpful; its always nice when you turn up after a 6 hour drive...
