This hotel or resort is situated very near archeological site of Palenque, on the road connecting modern town of Palenque and excavations. The resort is built on the natural terrain, one-floor bungalows are placed on a distance from each other, connected by walking paths, to reach some buildings you need to go upwards / climb some stairs through hotel area....

On the edge of the jungle - howler monkeys could be heard overnight. Lovely pool area which was just lovely. Really nice room - spacious and all mod-cons. Good service including the pool area and nice touch was breakfast box we took with us on second morning when we had to depart really early. Breakfast was good. Definitely recommend.

Stayed at this hotel on Secrets of the Maya tour. Room fairly comfortable. Buffet evening meal poor choice of meat and fish available. Very difficult to get served with a drink. Breakfast poor. Cereals all sugary. Handling of food by server making the omelettes. Poor internet only in reception.

The Mayan ruins at Palenque are considered the #2 most-important site after Tikal in Guatemala. But only 1%-5% of the buildings have been reclaimed from the jungle. Unless you can find a flight in and out of Palenque's modest airport, it's at least 2 hours drive from most anyplace else. And frankly, not worth the effort. But the hotel was...

The area around Palenque is booming with new infrastructure popping up in the middle of the jungle. This modern hotel right on the road outside the Archaeological Zone is lovely to come back to after a visit to the amazing ruins. The grounds are lovely and the large infinity pool is just beautiful. There are lots of lounge chairs and...

Hotel within a garden with a very small lake around which the rooms are. No Internet in the rooms - only in the lobby. (Except for 181-186 rooms close to the lobby). Air conditioning is good. Large rooms. A little light in the room. Beautiful view of the lake from near the room. Breakfast mediocre

This is a nice hotel relatively near to the bus station (down a long lonely road so you really do need to get a taxi though) with beautifully manicured grounds, two big pools and well spread out rooms. It didn't have much character though really and although the staff were professional and helpful they weren't particularly friendly or engaging. There...

We had a hard time finding a last minute place in Palenque and we ended up here. It was a great relief. The place was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly. The restaurant food was good, but the service was slow and they didn't have small change. The WiFi is only available in the lobby, which is a...

Stayed on Sagas secrets of the Maya tour. Room average, no view reasonably comfortable. Good pool, struggled for attention st the pool bar. Overall poor service and very poor food over two dinners and breakfasts. Hotel seems past its best and in need of an update and some customer service. Well placed for Palenque but little else to recommend it.

The only positive comment I can say about this hotel is that it is closer to the ruins of Palenque. The rooms are dated and the bedspread on the beds are old and discolored as well as the towels are frayed and dingy. They don't provide washcloths nor bath gel either. Be aware that there is NO wifi in the...
