What a delightful experience, made all the better by the warmness of Alison and Steve. From the beginning we knew that we had arrived at a happy house, it was like going home to see close relatives, we enjoyed the banter, Steve bless him doesn't stand much chance when Alison is in full cry, she has badges for nattering. At...

My husband and I stayed here on Saturday night as we were in Bristol for a family party. This was our second time with Alison and Steve and we weren't disappointed. They are such lovely welcoming people and the room did not disappoint. Although we were going to be late coming in Steve waited up for us. The brekfast was...

I stayed at this B&B while taking an exam in Bristol and really had nothing to worry about except my exam! Steve and Alison are so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble - Steve even gave me a lift and picked me up from the exam centre. The house is a lovely, cosy, family home and the bedroom was...

Excellent service. Arrived without booking, and they invited me into their lovely clean home. Absolutely lovely couple that run the rock cottage. Room was a very nice size with bathroom. Breakfast was lovely and filled me up for the rest of the day. Have already reconmended to several friends and have already booked myself back in for next month.

The room was a good size and the en-suite bathroom well equipped, both were clean and tidy. The evening meal was very good and the full English breakfast filled you up for the rest of the day. We have...

We were a family of six - two grandparents, two parents and two children, turning up on bicycles. Alison and Steve could not have been more welcoming. They offered to put our bicycles in their back room, although we declined and locked them outside. Alison and Steve clearly love children and have the most well kitted out family room I...

My wife and I took a two-week vacation in the UK, staying in London, Bristol, Bath, Cardiff, Stratford-Upon-Avon, and back to London. The Bristol Rock Cottage was by far the best place we stayed. It was inexpensive compared to most of the other rooms we had on the trip, while the room itself was by far the largest and most...
