I like to review each time we stay up at the Bunya Mountains as we generally stay in a different house. This time it was just my children and I and we stayed in Tranquility. This is a lovely, well thought out house. We liked the fact that there were views from all windows and whilst not private, it had...

We stayed for a weekend, house wasn't family friendly had a steep stairwell with steel strips on the edges. Outside you had to brave the swarms of flies, bugs and mosquitoes that tropical strength repellent didn't even deter. If you really do need to stay up there pack stuff for kids to play with, a safety gate if you have...

Thanks for your feedback Jaynebaker84. We are sorry your Bunya Mountains experience was disappointing to you. We do have child friendly accommodation which would have made your life much easier and yes the flies and bugs have been bad everywhere at present. Did you see the firelies at dusk while you were here? Kind regards Sue, Laura, Jenepher & Michelle.

Bunya Romance accommodation. Great view, comfortable beds, exceptionally clean & all necessities for a few days stay were available in the house. Weather was very cool for late October so jacket is recommended but wonderful fire kept us warm. Plenty of chopped firewood left ready for guests which was a pleasant surprise. Great house for a large group offering privacy...

We had a lovely stay at the Wonga house at Bunya Mountains. Very large and open house with plenty of space and sleeping room. The kids really loved hand feeding the wild birds and having them sit on their arms, hands and heads was a special treat. Played some fantastic games of pool and even went down to the tennis...

Our extended family booked Tuggan Tuggan Mai for a weekend to celebrate the 80th birthday of my Mother. Tuggum Tuggum Mai sleeps 20 people, however we only had 15 people for the weekend. For our crowd the bedding arrangements worked well. Families with young children and the oldies had a bedroom and the rest slept in the large dormitory style...

Recently my wife and I had a mid week break staying at the "Sky" holiday house in Tolmie St on the Bunya Mountains .The house exceeded expectation for comfort and amenities . We awoke each morning to beautiful low cloud and mist silhouetted Bunya Trees and grazing wallabies. As the mist cleared we enjoyed two days of excellent bushwalking .Towering...

A absolutely perfect weekend with spent with a group of friends in the chalet called Bunya Romance. Very comfortable lounge & dining area for relaxing and the beds were great with plenty of extra blankets and quilts if needed, along with a cozy and warm fireplace in the lounge.
