Great place to stay with very friendly hosts. Great views from the rooms overlooking the water and natural bushland. Elaine is Winfield's best cook! Rooms decorated very nicely. Even the shampoos and soaps smell special! Definitely a great couples retreat

So glad that you enjoyed your stay with us on "The Baffle". I think we all enjoyed our evening meal, sitting on the deck, chatting, having a drink and savouring the tasty meal which I cooked using lots produce which is sourced locally. Hopefully on your next visit you will not have to work - and will have time to...

This was an excellent way to celebrate a milestone birthday. Food was lovingly prepared by Elaine, the atmosphere quiet and relaxing, the river calm and inviting to kayak on, the room/bed luxurious and Elaine and Gary's company delightful. Recommend to anyone wanting a break away from routine and somewhere to chill out.

We enjoyed 2 great nights at the retreat mid August. Gary & Elaine are gracious hosts who, along with dog Bundy, made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived and then looked after us very well indeed. This is a top B&B if you want to relax in well-appointed accommodation in perfect surroundings. We used the B&B as a...

What a delight it was to have you stay 2 nights with us. It was great that you were able to visit Agnes/1770 one day, then head to Bundaberg, to enjoy its attractions, the next day. Will let you know when the crabs are on!

What a place this is. Elaine and Gary are amazing hosts and we enjoyed being pampered. They are extremely friendly and hospitable and the food is incredible. Their house is just beautiful and the setting is just lovely by the banks of Baffle Creek. We will be back.

Baffle Retreat is set in such a serene location with beautiful views of Baffle Creek. It was wonderful having you stay at our B&B last weekend. The peace and tranquillity, the birdlife - and our prime position on the banks of Baffle Creek - makes anyone's visit here, 'very special'. Those freshly caught mudcrabs are a treat we like to indulge you with, when we are able.
