Had an amazing lunch here just two weeks ago. We hadn't booked and we're lucky to pop by when another group had reserved so they were making food and made room for us. The food is really amazing, simple homemade mountain food. The polenta with sausage sauce was simply the best I ever had. All the courses were amazing, and...

We stayed two days with Mauro and Ornella on a walking tour. We can't remember when we last stayed somewhere so quiet - no traffic noise in this valley at all (OK the donkeys make a noise) All the food was delicious and almost all was home produced - we were tucking into a plate of prosciutto by the pool...

The entry to the property was a little hard to locate (after being on foot all day on a walking holiday of Umbria). Once we arrived, however, the room was clean and comfortable, and it was a rare treat to have a kettle available so that we could make a cup of tea. Our hosts were very welcoming, and took...

We stayed with Mauro and Ornella for four days with our 20 month old son, and couldn't be happier. It was such a refreshing experience to be with such nice people and to be in such a beautiful location. Our son loved visiting all of the animals with Mauro, including baby pigs and goats. Mauro was even kind enough to...

We stayed here overnight during our walk of the Sabine Hills - it is a hidden gem of a place. Ornella, Mauro and their daughter made us very welcome (and spoke very good English) and we were offered all sorts of local specialities for dinner - all home made and utterly delicious. The accommodation was separate from the main house,...

I agree with the previous reviewer in that more effort needs to be put in to make it great. We were on a 7 day walking holiday and we're pleased with the accommodation, views. I wish I would have known I could have had a beer when I arrived, the temperature were in the high 20 Celsius. The standout for this...

We had a very pleasant stay and were welcomed by Mauro and Ornella and the highlights were the simple but delicious food (most of which seems to be grown or reared on the farm). They were really friendly and the food was excellent. The rooms are spacious and well separated from the dining area and overlook the pool and have...

Ornella and Mauro were wonderful hosts. The food was all homemade and much of it was made on the farm. The standout was the pizza from their pizza oven with home-made ingredients. The farm is high up giving beautiful views over the Sabine Hills and is a lovely place to relax - it is quiet and surrounded by other small...

We arrived late afternoon as a group of 4 adults on a walking tour in the Sabine Hills. Mauro was welcoming and immediately offered us some local organic beer which we enjoyed in the sunshine on the terrace of the bar, surrounded by his 4 friendly dogs. Bees buzzed lazily in the background (there are hives) and we enjoyed the...
