Sijori Resort & Spa provides a wellness lodging that really suit in me. Green environment that can refresh my brain and mind during working on weekday. Wide swimming pool with cute floaties and so many coconut trees around the pool that looks like in Hawaii.
Confort wide bedroom with green view. 6 ha of this resort is used for planting medicine plants.
There are also some outdoor activities like fishing, archery, mini golf etc.
You will enjoy and feel like reluctant to end holiday in Sijori Resort and Spa Batam.

I just spent my holiday with friends at Sijori Resort & Spa. Shortly after entering the resort area of cool air I immediately feel, then when entering the lobby area of hotel staff with very friendly welcome. check in process is very easy and fast, hotel staff is also very helpful in explaining the various facilities available here. Not far from the reception desk a young mother offered me a herbal medicine drink (Jamu), it was nice not to be surprised that this resort is the 1st Wellness Resort in Batam. The hotel room I live in is also very comfortable and spacious, the bed is very soft, making sleep very comfortable. The pool area is also very spacious and equipped with various types of buoys that we can use as much. many activities that can be done here, such as running the morning with a very fresh air, fishing, playing archery and mini golf. Sijori Resort and SPA has success in giving their best hospitality to me and friends on this weekend. I am kinda person who like tree rather than beach, I could find many trees around, so much love the fresh air. Especially in the morning, they have a jogging track and i spend a lot of fun on it. Thus for me the best thing from this resort is the landscape and the view, rarely find in another resort at Batam, it is nice place to relax and please yourself.
The room is very sophisticated in many ways for us, the modern furniture and complete equipment were provided in the room. When my friend needed an iron, just called the reception and they brought it to me. Nice bathroom too, i spend a lot of time on the bathroom since i arrived on Saturday after working, and needed a super boom shower. Falling in love with the shower gel anw, i dont know the ingredients, but i think it is made from some herbs.
I had a lot of fun times here such as archery, fishing, jogging and a table that full of Jamu (Kind of Indonesia Traditional herbs drinking). My friends also seem enjoying the swimming pool. Highly recommended for you who want to find a nice view and place to escape from the hectic day. Will write much in my blog soon.

Booked our stay at the Sijori Resort and Spa, Batam and did not receive any call, email or text message from the hotel that they are closed. Ended up waited for the hotel pickup at the ferry terminal on the day of check-in for an hour. Then board a taxi to the resort only to get a rude shock the hotel has closed. Called and emails to Agoda did not receive any response. Amazingly, Agoda even sent me a email to rate this resort a few days later! Indeed a testimony to all their good customer services, both Sijori Resort Singapore office and Agoda!

Newly reopened after a period of shutdown for refurbishing. The room is thus new and fresh. Some facilities are still being upgraded, but overall the facilities are good. Hotel provide free pickup from ferry terminal (your entry/exit ferry terminal is Sekupang). The pickup service and check in process are efficient. My wife used the spa/massage package and commended he service is very good. Restaurant offering is reasonable, given the fact that we stayed during weekdays with not many guests around, breakfast was thus offered through menu selection (choices of local or continental breakfast). Overall, a very enjoyable and relaxing stay, and the service is excellent, with smiles on everyone, well done!

We stayed at Sijori from 29th Dec to 31st Dec, a 3d2n getaway for me, my wife and kid. Being a first timer in Batam, my main worry is getting a reliable transport. I am relief that the hotel provide transport from Sekupang ferry terminal to the hotel and for return trip as well. Upon arrival, we were immediately served with welcome drink and towel to freshen up. We managed to get an early check. The receptionist was extremely helpful and recommended us a friendly and trustworthy private driver (Pak Dion) for our visit around town and Barelang. Wife managed to get a session (1 hour) of great massage at just Rp300k Well worth it. We loved the concept of Sijori, plants and trees everywhere and conservation of natures. It’s great that they grew some of the vege and melons. Keep up the good work folks! Lastly, thanks to all the friendly and courteous staff of Sijori. You have made our stay a memorable one. Will definitely return in the near future and looking forward to explore more once the remaining construction is completed in a few months time.

We have visited the resort under their Xmas Promo Package which include stays, transfer, Xmas dinner & Lunch. Somehow we felt we have overpaid way too much for the standard we have received for 3D2N to Batam.
Maybe I shared the negative feedbacks 1st. 🤪The Xmas dinner was an disappointment. I felt they are inexperienced in organising it. We dun feel Christmas at all as not much deco. They din even prepare party pack or anything for kids. Well at least a candy cane pls? Haha... nope nothing. Worst is the food. Suppose to be BBQ buffet but think they underestimate how well their guests can eat. They told us dinner at 7pm but when we there most of the “sign up for dinner guests” have started eating. The buffets station most of the foods are EMPTY, replenish too slow. When we booked their Singapore office told us is INTERNATIONAL but surprise all WESTERN. My in law are typical chinese food people so they literally eat nothing that nite. What save the nite is there is a live band. 😅
Again Xmas Lunch was horrifying too. Haha... same thing, they claimed it as Christmas Lunch Feast but nothing related to the season. Most of the foods are SPICY!!! Plain rice, mee goreng, veg, fish, chicken, soup, fruits, salad n pastry. We have 4 kids so they just ate PLAIN rice & FRUITS for that lunch. 😭
Daily breakfast I do feel they trying to put in effort. However they should take note of hygiene. Flies, insects were like crawling n sitting on breads, pastries & fruits. Would suggest to have a food cover. I know Sijori is a place of nature but I do not want to have immediate nature call after eating them. 🤣Replenish of food is super duper slow. Reason I feel cos half of the resort still under renov. They din have a proper cafe with proper kitchen. Worst is some guests just sit in that tiny cafe which is meant to cater to ALL guests in the resorts, whole MORNING eating & eating. So not enough seats n not enough food. The staff also poor thing cos cant be chasing them off.
Currently huge construction work still happening in the resort. So we mainly there to enjoy the pool, spa & peacefulness. In Room they have many TV channel so not to worry to get bored. Poolside, they provide lots of floats for kids to enjoy. Co-ordinating work needs to improve such as booking of transport, ferry tkt etc but once we raise an issue they able to correct it. 👏🏻
Seriously, they have super duper great staff which helps to make the situation so much better. You can feel they are sincere to fulfil your request. I need to compliment 1 of the staff ~ Sally. She totally made us feel at home. She is always putting on big smile 😃 & try her best to savage any situation.
Boss of Sijori, your staff in Batam deserve big bonus. Haha... anyway tks for hosting us & we enjoyed our stay as a FAMILY. ❣️

Slow and indifferent service from the staff. The bed is very comfortable but the amenities are not replenished every day. Need reminders. The resort has signs of neglect in some corners. Food at restaurant is not good. Better off heading out to eat.

they have shuttle from nagoya hill to resort. it is for guest that stay in the resort who took the earlier shuttle to nagoya hill for shopping. but please call to ask them to confirm.
i took the resort shuttle service from the ferry terminal but it is best to arrange with the resort on the timing. can't remember whether i paid for the shuttle service.
The resort arranged transport service for us, both ways to & from Sekupang Terminal, without hassle and very good service. Email the resort to arrange.
