Wonderful little wooden house with an amazing host. Irene makes you feel like you are crashing at a friend's house rather than staying at a B&B. Breakfast is delicious by the way. There is a sun terrace at the roof if you enjoy private sunbathing. The rooms are beautifully decorated and comfortable. But it was Irene's hospitality that made my... More

We stayed two nights at casa de Irene in July 2013. Everything was perfect, boat tickets arrangements, advice on the island (walk around the island, finishing by langostas and maracuja on the beach was a highlight), long talks on the terrasse, a marvelous garden and a delicious breakfast made our trip to Boipeba. Definitely recommend!

First of all, the Island of Boipeba is magical! Although it can be a bit hard to get there (I believe flights from Salvador no longer exist) it's absolutely worth it! Incredible mix of exuberant nature. A Casa de Irene is a very charming house with 3 available rooms. Irene rents them for very reasonable prices, even during high season... More

Boipeba is well worth a trip but Irene's house and hospitality are worth even more. The island is absolutely enchanting to the point that in leaving get ready to experience "saudade". And you will miss Irene, her delicious home-made breakfasts, her "raw" capirinhas, the extraordianary stories she tells on the house wooden roof at dawn. She makes you feel at... More

Casa de Irene stands on the heights of the island, surrounds by nature and so we enjoyed the quietness, the green and the sight. There was a deck over the roof; you can't even imagine the view at dawn when you’re standing right on top of the trees around. The room was very nice and charming. Everything was clean. Breakfasts...
