Reasonably priced for the most lovely four poster room. Food fantastic and the care and service couldn't have been better. When I had a problem with my car the staff were amazing. What a team!

So we went to the travellers rest for lunch with my parents, Sunday it was so roast was the order of the day... except I did not want roast so I had fish. With my submerged salmon I got 2 roast potatoes and 2 boiled.......More
We stayed over for 1 night and the room was lovely the view was beautiful. The staff were very friendly and the food was amazing lovely stay , we would definitely recommend a stay over the breakfast was lovely cooked fresh and a great selection.

We have stayed at Rye Hill Farm which isn't far from Slaley and is an excellent B&B with a campsite. From memory it's about £35 per person per night. Rooms are spotless and breakfast is good. We have also stayed at the Manor House Inn, which is a little further away, on the A68, and again is very good. The Crown Inn at Slaley is a community owned pub with accommodation. Have eaten there, but not stayed. Details of all three are on Trip Advisor.
