Called in 10mins before lunch service was due to finish,still made welcome and served a delicious meal,hubby said it was the best gammon steak he had ever had,my omelette and home made chips were also very tasty.Lovely setting and will be going back.
Fantastic menu & service. We were staying at nearby Slaley Hall & weren't happy with the food there so tried here. The quality of food, service and menu was outstanding & had we been there for another night we would have gone back.

We have stayed at Rye Hill Farm which isn't far from Slaley and is an excellent B&B with a campsite. From memory it's about £35 per person per night. Rooms are spotless and breakfast is good. We have also stayed at the Manor House Inn, which is a little further away, on the A68, and again is very good. The Crown Inn at Slaley is a community owned pub with accommodation. Have eaten there, but not stayed. Details of all three are on Trip Advisor.
