Room was good - clean, quiet and private. Location is good - I would imagine that parking may be a problem if not the weekend. Did not eat at the facility to experience the food. Not sure why comments must be over 200?

We enjoyed staying at this hotel, with its excellent refurbishment and sense of Canberra history. The staff were more than cooperative, the rooms comfortable and there was good provision for handicapped guests.

A property with some history and not inconsiderable charm. Although the rooms are spread over different levels and a myriad of corridors they are well appointed with modern bathrooms. The food offer and wine choice is excellent. However as the wine brands were unfamiliar to us we had to rely on the recommendation of waiting staff. It proved to be...

We stayed for two nights with a Luxury Escapes deal which was extremely good value (breakfast included plus $25 credit with dining at the restaurant) - Comfortable large room overlooking the attractively designed outdoor area; clean and stylish room decor; very nice food and an interesting whisky tasting session with Taylor, who was very informative and personable.

Hotel Kurrajong is set in a leafy area of Canberra, with its own attractive gardens. This majestic hotel has an appealing lobby and lovely public areas, a nice garden area off the bar and pleasant rooms (on the small side). There is a pretty standard breakfast bar and a good dinner menu. Room service is available.

Lovely Hotel. Has a history to it based on early politics in Canberra with it's décor etc. Very retro 1940's style with recent modern upgrade. Rooms and beds very comfortable. In a lovely quiet part of Canberra and easy to access Kingston, Manuka and the city. The only issue is the drinks at the bar are quite expensive, but the...

Stayed two nights in this lovely old but restored hotel in the Parliament / Gallery area of Canberra. The hotel is 90 years old but has been beautifully restored with a art deco, 20's vibe to it. The reception area is impressive and service good, our room was the classic room which was comfortable and tastefully decorated. The dining room...

What an incredibly surprising experience! Did not know the history behind the Kurrajong, and as a High School Teacher of Australian History..was in my element!! SO central to all the places I wanted to visit. Must mention the restaurant! Maybe it was the romance of the place, but the food and overall dining experience was 11/10! Cannot say enough about...

We had a great time staying at the Kurrajong. The hotel is so close to all the attractions we like and there is a bus at the corner to get to the city if required. Rooms are very comfortable. Parking a little limited but we were assured there is street parking in required. Short walk to lake and great eateries.
