Girl that checked me in seemed nice enough. Next one I had a simple question of was not. No free wifi either, unless you want to go downstairs and ask reception to let you into the back office, which I didn't bother to do. Room had everything we needed and was spacious enough. Particularly appreciated 2nd fridge as we had...

Location; good, being easy walking distance to restaurants, Canberra Central and the War Memorial if you are prepared to walk a bit further. Rooms; tired but clean & adequate, & in our case the good in-room kitchenette facilities were a bonus. Parking; under hotel so very convenient but limited, so get in early. Staff; women in reception were cheerful &...

This was reasonable budget accommodation. Yes it is old and outdated compared to some of their neighbours, however the photos are quite accurate and I would say that it is exactly what you would expect if you took the time to look. I have stayed some places where they have renovated some rooms but then stayed in one of the...

Every question is answered with 'well actually' - not a good sign. Internet signal is atrocious - very hard for work trips especially as I'm a software consultant. Breakfast is not as advertised in most booking sites. The only room Service is Italian restaurant - menu in room did not reflect what I attempted to order so I gave up....

Stayed at this place for a hens night, wow!! I suppose you get what you pay for, in this instance a very outdated stuffy room. Omg, I have never seen a bed in a cupboard but now I have, lol. I had a chuckle at the bubble and cuddle package they have, honestly I don't know if I would have...

Three of us had to meet in Canberra recently Seeking basic accomodation at reasonable price needing parking and central location. this is not a five star. resort. but if you want a clean comfy place to stay in the centre of Canberra at fair cost It ticks the right boxes.

People leaving bad reviews would have had too high expectations. Given the price of accommodation there, it would not the the Ritz Carlton. However, it is conveniently located (leisurely walk to the city centre), spacious, clean and has good facilities (with the exception of wi-fi, but again it is a budget option). Self-catering is well catered for, reducing costs for...

We walked in and booked the room at reception. Room was dusty, bathroom was mouldy, staff were far from friendly. We walked onto our room and walked straight back out and stayed elsewhere. No refund was given die to a 24 hour cancelation rule. Will never ever stay here again. Note: stayed at hotel kurrajong. It was amazing.

Although the place is a little dated and due for a refresh, it was clean and well managed, in walking distance to Canberra Centre. Also quite reasonably priced. Try to get a room off the main road, as it can be a little noisy during the peak period.

I booked this motel through booking.com for my family (partner, young baby & myself). I made a specific request for a "Child's Cot" in the booking, which was noted in my reservation email. Upon arrival it was discovered that a cot hadn't been put in the room. I spoke with the 'manager' who informed me that they don't have cots....
