It kinda funny reading the review on her & how the so called GM attacks anyone who writes a bad review, the fact is Bz, this is a terrible place. he needs the boot & a new GM appointed. the place needs a major make over, the staff need to be be taught respect. They are in a service industry,...

Dear BlinkyBill71, We are a great value Canberra City Hotel This is what over 98.55% of people who stay here say. An overnight stay, room was great clean & tidy with a comfy stay. Fantastic price with very friendly staff. Sometimes you may hear the outside traffic but that's to be expected given the CBD location. Would definitely stay here...

Booking this hotel was easy and check in was pleasant. The room itself was clean, however the beds were very uncomfortable to sleep in. We were promised a queen and two single beds, however the bed was definitely not queen size. After the first night of a very uncomfortable sleep, we put our children in the "queen" bed for the...

New Years Eve, not much happening so we decided to do a quick trip to Canberra to look at the new additions at the War Memorial. But first we needed somewhere to sleep. A quick search of the net found the Capital Executive Apartment Hotel and while some other reviews were critical we found the overall accommodation to be moderately...

The room was clean but old and in severe need of an update, parking is atrocious if you go out and come back you spot is gone and you have to park elsewhere. WIFI costs you $10 and you only get it in the comunal areas you don't get it in your room (to the manager it's almost 2017, you...

The Capital Executive Apartments are ideally situated for Canberra City Centre which is within walking distance, as is the trendy Lonsdale St.. While it may be an older building it is comfortable and friendly. Rates are very reasonable and there is a good onsite restaurant, The Haig.

The rooms and decor and carpets are new and the place looks pretty good. BUT overall I would not recommend other than to sleep here. Our friend's toilet was broken and the hotel did not offer an alternate room. Read this: they still use a 2001 credit-card swipe machine and cannot take Tap-and-Go. The oldest credit-card system I've seen in...

They are tired rooms quite noisy in a small market and well little more than a place to sleep. Not sure about the staff but what really surprises is the way the general manager attacks people who write legitimate reviews on this forum. In a service dominated industry I just wonder the purpose of this rather than learning from mistakes...

I have stayed at the Capital Executive Apartment Hotel on several occasions when I have visited Canberra and have always come away pleased with the accommodation. My recent stay was no exception. The reason I chose it again was that it is so close to the centre of the city, and is so reasonably priced. The room was fairly basic,...

Needed a hotel in Braddon- it was a busy time, lots of hotels booked out or ridiculously inflated for the night. For what I paid it was reasonable - clean, tidy, a comfortable bed, plenty of space and close to lots of restaurants. However it is very tired and dated - reception staff could have been more welcoming and friendly....
