No fuss with an early book in, very helpful staff made our visit to Sydney very easy as good information was given. The location is excellent within walking distance of the main attractions and the price is pretty good for being in the middle of Sydney.

A lovely room with a balcony gave a view over the Capitol Theatre precinct. The room was modern and clean with very comfortable beds. The team of staff were wonderful and helpful. Being so well located, even when we were exhausted there were plenty of eateries to choose from in just a few minutes walk. Would definitely stay here again

We had a balcony so good to get some fresh air. Room quite spacious and bed comfortable. Staff obliging and friendly. Would recommend if going to Capitol Theatre or Chinatown. Can be a little noisy from streets and no parking but close to buses and trains.

I had a few issues: 1. The lady who checked us out was quite rude. She couldn't hear me because there were a lot of people around and she gave me a really rude facial expression and shrug. 2. The room smelt really bad On the positive - for the price you are getting pretty decent facilities.

This hotel was affordable and comfortable. We arrived early before the posted check in time and a room was available for us. There was lots of construction going on in front of the hotel and all of George Street for that matter. The room was clean and comfortable. Upon departure the we inquired about booking the airbus to the airport...

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown
Tiger-flanked archways on Dixon Street mark the entrance to the “little Asia” of Sydney. A walk through Chinatown is a feast for the senses where aromas, tastes, sounds and visions of dancing tigers transport you to a different world. Chinatown visitors can expect a melting pot of Asian food at the neighbourhood's specialty delis and groceries. From yum cha to handmade noodles, BBQ ducks hanging in the window to Asian sweets and bakeries, there is something for all tastes. Paddy’s Markets is the largest flea market in Sydney where you can find souvenirs, clothing, gifts and fruit and vegetables at unbeatable prices. At night, Chinatown comes alive with entertainment including theatre, nightclubs and bars that are open until the early morning.
