Just needed somewhere to crash for a night for a work trip - booked a double room with shared bathroom. Room was tiny but fine if you weren't spending all evening there or just there for the night. Shared bathroom ok, good to see the shower had shower gel! But only one shower in shared bathroom so in busy times,...

Under construction - didn't realise shared bathroom and shocking breaky and all round experience. Felt like I was at a very bad dorm room for the retired and elderly which maybe is the area they are focusing on but if so at least be honest about what you are selling

This hotel was good value for the price charged. It is situated in a good location, close to the train station & bus stops. Also within walking distance from some of Sydney's tourist locations & hotspots. I found the staff to be friendly & willing to help. Very nice overall. Currently undergoing renovation, so things can only get better.

The room was clean and tidy but would have preferred to have my own bathroom than to have to share. The staff were friendly and helpful. Location is great and close to public transport, city shopping etc.

Needed somewhere with easy transport links to bot the airport and the suburbs, this place has that with busses and trains across the road, and shops just two blocks away. Having a microwave oven in the rooms would be handy.

Very average for the price. Location and staff only saving grace. The room card entry system kept on stuffing up causing significant inconvenience. Parking too far away from hotel. Dropping off and leaving hotel in peak hour traffic a PIA due to no 24hr off road parking bay. No free internet. TV's to small.

Chose the Y Hotel again because of it's great location. Even though there were renovations taking place during our stay there was very little disruption. We had a free upgrade to a hot breakfast which due to the renovations we had to cross over the road to Let's Cafe. The food served was cold and when it was sent back...

Close to railway,Good location, easy walking to shops and eating places ,room was average but I think you require a new vacuum as the carpet could do with a good clean. As this is taking me too long as I m not very good on the computer that 's it

Terrible, terrible, terrible!! Falsely advertised! You think from the website you're getting a nice room for a good price...DON'T be fooled. The rooms are tiny, grubby & in need of a decent clean & vacuum. Staff need some extra training on how to treat a paying customer. Disappointing! Not accommodating at all when we asked about our room with a...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
