It's located at a ex-red light district so there's a lot of pubs, occasionally there's drunk people walking around. Quite scary I would say. Wouldn't recommend for families with kids or elderly. Shared toilets quite clean. No elevator so I had to carry my luggae up to the third Storey which is the top floor with the help of the...

Stayed here for 2 months while i was in Sydney. Really loved it! I made so many friends. Highly recommended if you're a solo traveller. I left here after my first week to stay in a *fancier* hostel. Mistake. Was right back there after. Don't let the location of King's Cross turn you off (if you're new to Sydney). I...

Very clean and safe hostel, with an extremely dishy owner. I have stayed in this hostel for around 11 months enjoying living in a clean hostel with good/interesting night life surrounding the hostel. Also the use of the roof top terrace comes in handy if you are a smoker. Also the hostel has to tortoises, just saying.

It was a great stay at this hostel. I had no Reservation which was no Problem. Always nice staff. Just next door is a train station (kings cross) and some supermarkets. Rooms and bathrooms were clean.

Booked jackaroo on hostel world from New York and didn't know what to expect as is the case with most of these things. When I arrived the welcome couldn't have been warmer, and what was booked as a weeks stay ended up being over 4 months. The hostel is the cleanest I've ever stayed in and the standard of the...

I would stay again there for sure if I go to Sydney, even not as a backpacker, the hostel Is very clean and tidy and it has double rooms...

"-": - Found a giant cockroach on the first night. - The lock on the door. Not secure at all. - Bathroom equipment looks like it can break any moment, windows without handles, etc. - Kings Kross is a red light district of Sydney and on Saturday it gets really loud. Hi, Thank you for taking the time to write a review, we are glad you enjoyed the location, free breakfast and our friendly staff. We have a pest control contract in place which which does an excellent job at keeping pests at bay. Unfortunately being in Australia in the warmer months, one can sometimes slip through though. As soon as...

Picked this hostel at random when i went to Sydney, heard good and bad things about the area (kings cross) but i ended up staying there for 4 months working and didn't have any problems. The hostel is in a great location right next to the train station 2 stops from the city centre, or you can walk it in...
