My husband and I stayed 3 nights at The Establishment Hotel. I wouldn't say I was that UNhappy with my stay but there were a few things that were just not up to par. 1. There were no hooks in the bathroom for your towels. When I asked them about it, they said we could just throw them on the...

We stayed for a night as part of my birthday present. It was matched with an exquisite meal Est restaurant. We went with the entry level room. I did not call it basic because it was far from this. Charming wooden beams. Very large bathroom king bed with space to spare. Fixtures all high standard. Also little novelties like the...

If you're a busines executive, it's simply too noisy. Sleep is critical and I'm writing this review at 5.30am after another sleepless night. It is frankly inconceivable how many bottles are collected nightly by the waste disposal trucks, but how do I wish I owned the three massive bars in this establishment - think thousands of people. So all other...

This place is perfect! I love the decor and the open plan bathroom to bedroom (it can be sealed off, but why would you when the bath ends up in the middle of the room - very sexy!). The exposed pipes on the ceiling of the rooms, the massive shower...I love how hip, posh and boutique this place is. I've...

This is what boutique hotel is supposed to be. Elegant, posh, a little quirky and well connected. The hotel is right in the center of all the CBD but is so quiet, you would think you were out in the country. Plus, the hotel is affiliated with the most trendy restaurants and clubs in the city, so no problem getting...

We just had a weekend at the Establishment hotel with some friends. This is a facility where the words "customer service" are fully understood by every single staff member and they go way beyond the majority of hotels to ensure the best possible experience. The rooms are spacious, very well appointed with the added little touches of a fine luxury...

If you are willing to spend the $, this place is well worth the price. If you are looking for a well-known chain with hundreds of rooms, heated indoor pools, full of pomp & circumstance that come with other well known 4-5 star chains, this may not be for you. I am the type of traveler that likes a comfortable...

We arrived on foot after catching the airport train to Circular Quay. The entrance is down an alley which on this Friday night was dotted with a couple of ladies of the night - interesting start to our stay! Our flight was very delayed due to a flight attendant fainting so we were initially relieved we had not made a...

A very cool boutique hotel tucked away in a alley in the centre of Sydney. The well styled rooms are quite spacious with large bathrooms, and they instantly feel like your own very cool pad in the middle of the city. Its the sort of hotel which makes you feel a bit glamourous and sexy - like you want to...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
