The location near Circular Quay is great, but this property is not up to the quality of other Four Seasons (still nice, but not 5 *) We had a full harbour view room that had a great view of the harbour (bridge and opera house), but the room was tiny First level restaurant is under construction (as of Jan-2017), it's...

First, let me clarify that our stay at this property was part of a package from a cruise line that disembarked in Sydney. So, basically, our three night stay was already chosen for us from the cruise line. The biggest thing that this hotel has going for it IS the location at the bottom/top of George Street and around the...

After arriving at Sydney airport is was an easy train ride to Circular Quay station and a very short walk to the Four Seasons Hotel. The staff at the front desk well friendly and efficient. Our room was clean, well presented with everything we needed for our 2 night stay in Sydney. The location is amazing with an easy walk...

Location very good for all tourist purposes. Hotel is nice but not up to standard. Admittedly, price is also less than anticipated so value is good. Apparently it was formerly a lesser chain renovated to be FS but not great. We travel very light so closet and storage adequate but very small. Bath products only OK and no grab bars...

Fabulous location in Sydney. Service exception, staff super helpful and very friendly. Lovely room overlooking the harbour and opera house. Walking distance to Opera House, Ferrys, the Rocks, restaurants and shops. Would recommend and definitely stay again.

We recently had a company conference at the Four Seasons Sydney. I live in Sydney so I am very familiar with its surrounds and local attractions. However, staying in a hotel that I have only ever booked for our company VIP's was beyond expectation. Never before have I experienced such polite, courteous, friendly service. I seriously am astounded and so...

The Four Seasons is a high quality hotel in Sydney. Excellent location and service. The property needs a bit of a makeover and it is mainly geared toward the business traveller. I was welcomed with a birthday present, which was very nice. Also the room was nicely presented. We had a couple of issues though: the safebox had to be...

The Four Seasons has all the facilities to be expected from a five star hotel - sizeable heated outdoor pool, well equipped gym, free wi-fi and accessible business centre, upmarket restaurant and bars. Its location is ideal - adjacent to Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Opera House, and close to fashionable shops and trendy restaurants. All rooms are well appointed,...

We visited Sydney for the weekend for a concert at the Opera House, and the Four Seasons was perfectly located for this purpose. It was an easy walk to Circular Quay (and the railway station there), the Opera House, The Rocks, and the CBD. The harbour view room has stunning views over the Opera House, cruise ship terminal and harbour....

Was quite possibly the best hotel I have ever stayed in. I arrived in sydney on an early morning flight, and they were able to check me into my room only an hour after arriving which was hugely appreciated. All of the staff were wonderfully helpful and extremely polite. Room service was amazing. Could not fault a single thing. Thank...

Staying in The Rocks

Neighbourhood Profile
The Rocks
The first residents of the Rocks were convicts and sailors from the old nation. As the oldest neighbourhood in the city, the area's cobblestone streets host more than 100 heritage sites and buildings, including the oldest house in Sydney, Camden Cottage, which was built in 1816. Taste a “midi “ or a “schooner” of beer and dine “al fresco” on the waterfront at some of the oldest pubs in Sydney. The weekend markets at the Rocks are where you can find local artists' hand-made souvenirs, organic food and designer jewelry in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. To enjoy some of the best Australian and international contemporary art, the MCA museum is open every day and select evenings. At the end of a long day of sightseeing, be sure to save energy to dance the night away at the area's many late night entertainment venues.
