We checked in the day before and received an email when the room was ready which was rather early. It was awesome to experience the magnificent view on our 30th floor. We requested champagne glasses and an ice bucket which both arrived promptly. The pool was gorgeous and we spent the afternoon in a cabana enjoying the poolside bar service....

Room not ready for an hour after check in time and then was given the wrong room. Had booked well in advance a room with twin beds (friend & I catching up in Sydney for a long weekend to see a concert at the Opera House) and were shown to a room with one king size bed. Moved to much...

We had a spacious corner room overlooking the Opera House, which we really enjoyed - good amenities, comfortable bed and superb view. Our 2 year old daughter was very well looked after. We also enjoyed the breakfast and pre-dinner drinks at the club lounge. It will definitely be our choice of hotel when we visit Sydney.

Overall a nice stay, however I would try another nice hotel rather than wanting to stay here again! The beds were super comfy and I did have a great night sleep. The breakfast was delicious but over priced. The service was fantastic, however I felt the hotel was looking aged.

Our room had the most incredible views of the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House along with the bustling ferries coming in and out of Circular Quays. On level 24, the views made up for the slightly smallish yet very comfortable bedroom. The staff were great, friendly and helpful. On arrival I discovered I had ordered a twin room instead...

Put our team up here for a night for Christmas party around13 rooms in all. Classy hotel in the heart of Sydney, convenient to everything. All our people enjoyed it and would come back. Was disappointed that given our spend I ended up with a room without a view when many of our staff were looking at the harbour. You...

We had coffee here in the Buffet restaurant 3 days in a row over the weekend of the 2nd-4th December. Absolutely sensational service & friendly staff. The coffee was the best we had in Sydney and it was quick service. Based on the friendly staff & can do attitude, I wish we'd stayed here as well.

We had a fabulous view that looked over Circular Quays and the Opera House, the room was spacious, nothing overly special, other thwn the view but very comfortable. However, the staff made our stay what it was. They were very happy to go above and beyond to ensure we achieved the most form our stay. On the concierge desk Jorge...

I can't understand how a chain like Four Seasons dare to present this hotel in a same quality range (with similar price range, between 400 and 500 AUD per night without breakfast) as other Four Seasons hotels worldwide. The so called "de Luxe city view room" was a small room with old fashioned 80's furniture and really small bathroom, the...

We've just spent three plus weeks travelling Australia finishing last Friday (2nd December). The Sydney Four Seasons was the best of mostly very good hotels that we stayed in over the three weeks. Our room had a magnificent view over the harbour encompassing both the Harbour Bridge and Opera House. We had a slight issue with water ingress in the...

Staying in The Rocks

Neighbourhood Profile
The Rocks
The first residents of the Rocks were convicts and sailors from the old nation. As the oldest neighbourhood in the city, the area's cobblestone streets host more than 100 heritage sites and buildings, including the oldest house in Sydney, Camden Cottage, which was built in 1816. Taste a “midi “ or a “schooner” of beer and dine “al fresco” on the waterfront at some of the oldest pubs in Sydney. The weekend markets at the Rocks are where you can find local artists' hand-made souvenirs, organic food and designer jewelry in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. To enjoy some of the best Australian and international contemporary art, the MCA museum is open every day and select evenings. At the end of a long day of sightseeing, be sure to save energy to dance the night away at the area's many late night entertainment venues.
