Great views across Darling Harbour & within walking distance of many good eateries. Staff more than friendly and accommodating with any request. Harbour view rooms comfy but a little squeezy. Can't aford to be too tall in shower alcove but will definitely be going back on next vist.

Well, what a surprise we got with this Sydney Hotel. After stopping in many big name hotels around the Darling Harbour area. We would rate this as one of our most pleasant and value for money hotels. Rooms are budget but the surroundings, bars, restaurant, staff were one of the best we have encounted for a longtime and this includes...

The staff were very helpful. The location was really good, very convenient for Darling Harbour shops and restaurants. Minor point would be that some of room decor starting to look a little tired, but did not affect overall experience.

Upgraded to harbour view for $20 extra and well worth the view. The room was just that very basic and small. Had required features, tv and basic shower. Needs to be treated as a place to sleep only as that was about it. Bar downstairs, but does close early.

The old Formula 1 places. $295 a night Friday & Saturday for a small room with mould and the room stunk. If it was $99 a night I would understand it but not the mould. As Accor members, checked into the priority section only to be waiting 10 mins whilst they served everyone else coming up to the counter. Others...

The room was adequate, a liilte worn by age, but still presentable. Everything worked, comfortable bed. The location is great, just what we needed for a night at the ballet in the Lyric Theatre. Recommended!

Stayed at Ibis Darling Harbour with my friend for 2 nights on our weekend getaway to Sydney from Brisbane. The hotel is in a great location and is easily accessible. Would definitely recommend booking a superior room to guarantee that Harbour/city view. All staff encounters were great - all staff smiley and friendly. The room was just what we needed...

Would not recommend this hotel was a budget or suited for backpackers but had a high price tag. Room was to small and smelt of cigarette smoke. Bathroom flooded mound in the shower. Requested to be shifted another hotel

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
