Great location to walk to tourist attractions in Sydney and good that on-site parking is included in room rate. Liked that basic breakfast items delivered to room refrigerator every day. Very clean and beds comfortable.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for two nights while touring sydney. The room was spot on (we got a free upgrade for no apparent reason) and the light breakfast they provide was fine, albeit particularly light. The jewel in the crown is the free parking which is very hard to come across in sydney cbd, the staff allowed us...

Very quick check in, room overlooking the park, on 15th floor, staff were very helpful with any info and requests. The room was spacious & quiet, heavy curtains blocked out light etc. kitchenette had everything we needed but no dish cloth or tea towel , mentioned this on check out, the location is near many cafe, hotels, and a nice...

Brown and more brown - what a dismal room! We were staying in a two bedroom apartment in the Hyde Park Inn and the carpet and furnishings in the sitting room were a really depressing mix of shades of brown with harsh lighting. Plus points: ventral location, fabulous view of Hyde Park and beyond, overall cleanliness, good bathroom with spa...

This is actually the second time I have stayed at this hotel, with the first time way back in June of 2010. Things have not change much since then. I was lucky as check-in was quick. There were some times that I passed through the lobby and there were hoardes of people either waiting to check-in or check-out. This time...

Staff were friendly and welcoming, we even got offered a free room upgrade at check-in. The room was very good overall, some minor cleaning issues such as crumbs on the kitchen window sill (likely from a previous guest leaving the toaster there) and sand on the balcony. A continental breakfast was included in the room price and was good apart...

We stayed here for two nights during Australia Day. The location is excellent walking distance to Darling Harbour, Chinatown, major shopping, QVB, we also walked to Sydney harbour to enjoy the festive there. The room was clean and tidy and nice and quiet. Had nice kitchenette which was handy. Definitely will stay here again.

The Hyde Park Inn offers a clean, modern décor, affordable room in a great location conveniently located across the street from Hyde Park, near Museum (subway) Station and a 7-11 convenience store! I especially appreciated the generous sized shampoo bottles. Several good restaurants nearby. I would stay here again.

This was our second time to stay at Hyde Park Inn in Sydney. It has such a great location, you can walk to almost everywhere and take the train, bus or taxi to go to all the places of interest in Sydney. There are also a lot of restaurants, take away and convenience stores in the area, all within walking...

We stayed at the Hyde Park Inn for a week in April 2015 and were happy with the size of the room, cleanliness and price. Located directly across from Hyde Park and 10 minutes walk from China Town. Bus and train services located within very close proximity to the accommodation.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
