Stayed in this hotel while Sydney festivaling. Had a great view of the war memorial in Hyde Park. Short walk to shops, restaurants and Festival Village. Double glazing meant room was quiet and comfortable. make your own continental breakfast a bonus.

Stayed for a night to show the family around the CBD. Great location and easy walks to botanic gardens, circular key etc. Service was pleasant, professional and helpful. We were very unfortunate to have a group of noisy, drunk and foul mouthed males in the room above that removed our ability to sleep between 1am-5am. A family of five with...

The hotel was in a great location with views on the balcony of Hyde Park and the war memorial. Was a great walk to all destinations. Staff were friendly and room was neat and tidy. Good WiFi which was free! Continental breakfast included with a kitchen in room.

A group of us stayed here over 2 years ago to attend a conference. Therefore the room was booked by someone else, (not myself). The Hotel is located across from Hyde Park (which was nice to view from balcony), and is with in walking distance to buses, taxi's, shops, great cafes and Sydney CBD, (so close to all the action if...

I went there for 2 nights on a weekend and the check in process was slow. Parking was complimentary and onsite luckily. Another guest told me they were forced to park a block away as the hotel didn't have enough room onsite. The 2 bedroom apartments were ok. Nothing to write home about. Will try elsewhere next time to see...

Hotel is in a good location, parking was not on site about a block away, which was ok not too inconvenient. Breakfast included was few slices of bread in cling wrap in the fridge, some pots of fruit and fruit juice, few pks of cereal. Not that we minded too much as we ate out for brekkie, but should be...

Good hotel if you are on a tight budget. Ideally situated as everything is within walking distance apart from Bondi beach but the buses are just outside which is great. Rooms were basic but clean. Said B&B but being left bread & fruit in your fridge in my opinion isnt classes as B&B. I would stay there again as was...

My boyfriend and I booked a Deluxe Room recently for 2 nights. This is the second time we've stayed here. I was able to book the entire thing via email quickly and easily. Hotel comparison websites will tell you the hotel is booked, but if you book directly I've found they usually have vacancies. The unfortunate thing though: they don't...

My husband, adult daughter and I stayed two nights in a deluxe room here early in the new year. The room was spacious and comfortable. It included a fully equipped kitchenette, which we really did not use, but would be very useful for longer stays. The view to the harbour over Hyde Park was fabulous. The air conditioning was really...

We stayed here over Christmas. The location was fantastic very close to the centre of town with good access to public transport. Our apartment was very reasonably priced and very spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful and the free wifi and hotel laundry was an added bonus. Would definitely stay here again.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
