Apartments were clean, serviced & everyone from concierge to management were unbelievable. Would go there anytime. Good on you Quay West, thank you.

Woowee my mother knows how to pick the most amazing places to stay! She says she will win the lottery and live in this place with these fabulous views! Short walk to the shopping centre and close enough to other motels to get their free wifi. Our week was great with the 5 star service, both front of house and...

My family and I LOVED this hotel. We had a suite that I could have lived in. We had two separate bed rooms, two bathrooms, a full kitchen, dining room and a living room that overlooked the Harbour. The window gave us a panoramic view of the opera house, the bridge and the harbour. Each room had a little different...

We went to a concert with our teen girls at Enmore theatre and next day went on a cruise leaving from Balmain. Was easy to get to all places but loved the being in the Rocks! They have...

We understand from the receptionist that there is a plan to start refurbishing this serviced apartment hotel . I'd say they are about 18 months to 2 years too late and typical of Accor sweating their assets just too hard . We loved the layout and size of apartment for the four of us and the large outdoor balcony was...

We stayed here just prior to going on a cruise. It was the best start to a holiday EVER! We got there (family of 6), asked to check in and we were advised that we had been upgraded to the penthouse. Wow! The beds were very comfortable, the furniture was great, it had huge bathrooms and the best view of...

The room was nice. We got a snippet of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. The indoor heated pool was great. The observation deck had a wonderful view of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Sydney Opera House. I can't ask for more

Staying in The Rocks

Neighbourhood Profile
The Rocks
The first residents of the Rocks were convicts and sailors from the old nation. As the oldest neighbourhood in the city, the area's cobblestone streets host more than 100 heritage sites and buildings, including the oldest house in Sydney, Camden Cottage, which was built in 1816. Taste a “midi “ or a “schooner” of beer and dine “al fresco” on the waterfront at some of the oldest pubs in Sydney. The weekend markets at the Rocks are where you can find local artists' hand-made souvenirs, organic food and designer jewelry in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. To enjoy some of the best Australian and international contemporary art, the MCA museum is open every day and select evenings. At the end of a long day of sightseeing, be sure to save energy to dance the night away at the area's many late night entertainment venues.
