This was my first stay at the Sir Stamford. It has on old world feel to it but is maintained to a high standard. It has a great location in the CBD and is close to Circular Quay station. The staff were very efficient and friendly. The room was large with a comfortable sitting area and desk. I prefer a...

This place has old world charm that made our stay feel very special. The rooms are huge and the bathroom has a double sink which is a treat when sharing a room. The staff were lovely and always polite and super helpful. We were delighted to receive a bottle of champagne with a sweet note as an anniversary congratulations. Everything...

We enjoyed our stay at Sir Stamford. This is a traditional stately hotel from a time long past. Its wood burning fireplaces in winter and its traditional furnishing fit its location next to the botanical gardens and the government house. This hotels finishes are now showing some age and should be refurbished. I would stay here again.

Sydney is a really attractive city located on a deep magnificent harbor. Its setting makes the city one of the most beautiful cities in the world. But, it comes with a price tag, hence traveling to Sydney could be really costly. Finding a suitable hotel for our base in Sydney as first timers is really important. Because in my opinion,...

The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
