Relax and enjoy the closeness to Circular Quay and inner Sydney. Spend time in the bathroom or hanging over the balcony. Lots of newspapers and magazines to read and really comfortable beds. It has a good feel.

Nice hotel by Circular Quay and Opera house. Room very specious 400+ sq ft Hotel staff very helpful with directions to restaurants and attractions. 2 blocks to train station for access to airport and many attractions. Ferry service also 2 blocks which is a fun thing to do in Sydney. Responsive to our questions prior to arrival.

We stayed at this hotel for one night before our cruise. We chose this hotel because of its proximity to the cruise terminal at circular quay. The hotel has a very old world style to its decor which is lovely, however with old world style also come old world noises such as creaky floors in common places and a slower...

Room, service, location and quality are first class and highly recommended. As with any accommodation small things arise which need to be sorted and they were quickly and well. Special requests were always accommodated and meals, room service and the staff supporting your stay are pleasant, engaging and always competent. An in-room Sunday lunch with friends was a highlight!!

Sir Stamford stands out in terms of staff - welcoming, friendly and can't do enough for you. Although building and décor is aged, all is in good condition with a warm, welcoming feel. Beds were comfortable, bathroom well appointed and good shower. 3-4 minute walk to Circular Quay train station.
