Celebrated our anniversary by spending the night at this beautiful hotel. From check in to check out it was first class customer service. We were upgraded to a suite by the courteous, warm and friendly staff who clearly wanted our stay to be special. The room was beautiful and elegant and the bed very comfortable. This is not a modern... More

This hotel is 5 minutes walk from Circular Quay and the iconic sights of Sydney Harbour. Despite this, it is in a tranquil spot opposite the botanical gardens. It is traditional rather than modern in style, as its exterior suggests. Our room was large and comfortable with all the amenities you would expect. There are large, well furnished public lounges... We have theatre tickets nearby and decided to go to sir Stamford for dinner before our show. The good: 1. The hotel is lovely, the decor and elegant and welcoming 2. Their dinner special is good value and would be something I would return for. 3. The quality of food was fantastic. The bad 1. When we came in and... More

Spent 4 nights here in February in a wonderful suite. Lovely views over the Botanical Gardens, Opera House and Harbour. The Suite was amazing, the staff were wonderfully helpful. Excellent hotel, very close to Circular Quay (the heart of Sydney for tourists) although there is a short steep hill back to the entrance. A trace of damp in the lounge area, rooms large with faded Colonial elegance, very comfortable.
