Had 3 nights here recently on the 14th floor. Good value for money but like the rest they put the price up on Friday and Saturday night. Our room was a bit tired, a coat of paint would cover a lot, but it was clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Great location, everything within walking distance. Carpark is very tight, esp for...

I feel that I was swindled by this hotel. On the night of 27/12/2014, My credit card was charged $600 by this hotel. Then I called the hotel, they claimed to be a broken screen of a television on the bedstand. It was already 12 hours after I checked out. I returned to hotel and required to show evidence on...

My wife and I recently travelled around Australia visiting Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. Following our 2014 NZ accommodation preference we settled on 4 Star self catering Apartment styled accommodation and booked through Freedom Australia in the UK. Our Perth, Melbourne (excellent) and Brisbane accommodation were all good, but the Seasons Darling Harbour (38, Harbour Street, Sydney NSW 2000) was...

Whilst this hotel's rooms (especially the bathrooms) could do with a makeover, we found this hotel very good value for money and it was situated in a relatively good location. Easy walking distance to Darling Harbour and about a 25 minute walk to The Rocks and Circular Quay. Staff were friendly and happy to assist with transport and arrangements for...

I found this hotel quite pleasant, the staff were friendly and most helpful. I had a room on the 10th floor which was very clean, a nice comfortable bed which is not always easy to find - the bathroom was good with fresh towels and plenty of shampoo etc, the shower had a bit of mould in the grout but...

While convenient to Chinatown and Darling Harbour the property is ready for refurbishment. Bathroom and kitchen especially. Depending on the room you get there is noticeable traffic noise in the room. Staff were not very helpful. While there is air conditioning in the room the other parts of the hotel are not air conditioned so really hits in the corridors...

This was booked by my travel agent and I must admit, I was dubious about staying here after reading the vast array of reviews. But like I always say, you can't please everyone so my 4yr old son & I gave it a go! So, let's start with the positive points: Awesome location, friendly staff, clean, tidy & huge room...

During December my company had a work party and I agreed stupidly to complete an office move the next day. Due to this I decided to look up some cheap accommodation and noticed Seasons Darling Harbour had rooms going for $100 a night on a last minute website. I arrived in the room quite late, so did not get to...

Stayed here for 3 nights in a one bedroom suite...the kitchen facilities are great along with the amazingly confmy bed. The bathroom is a little dated but over all fantastic stay for the money. Location you could.not ask for better.

On our first night the air conditioner didn't work and it was boiling hot. Everything in the room is dated from the 1980s clock radio to the dirty couch. Upon closer inspection we found broken electrical fittings, mould in the bathroom and vents clogged with dust. Don't stay here if you want four star accommodation.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
