Water leaked from air conditioning, an entire large trashcan worth by checkout. Air did not work. No other rooms available to move. Hotel staff did nothing to compensate us. Rooms are impersonal and old.

if you're in sydney on a budget tour and will spend at least a couple of nights in the city, then this hotel is a very good option for you. you might think this hotel is off the grid because it's not on the main street and does not have a grand lobby, then you're mistaken. it is well located...

Great place to stay if you are going to the Opera House. Close to public transport and relatively quiet but don't travel in by car if possible as it is very expensive for an overnight stay. Room was clean and comfortable.

Myself and another couple checked out early due to many complaints. The air conditioner didn't work, bed was uncomfortable and completely harassed by housekeeping that continues to knock despite multiple request to come back later so we could sleep in. Low cost wasn't worth it and moved to a true 5 star for $40 more. Cannot recommend this establishment and...

Good location close to Martin Place station at reasonable price $250 per night given it was near New Year. Handy for bbus travel to football at Moore Park. Building work did not interfere with sleeping.

The hotel is very centrally located with easy access from Martin Place station. Staff are friendly and helpful and if you are in Sydney for business or pleasure I would recommend this no-frills hotel for convenience and value

This hotel is perfect for travellers looking for cheap accommodation in the centre of town. Refurbishment is looking good and I am sure that the hotel will look great. Will stay in this hotel again, great service and great location.

Appalled by the lack of facilities available during the upgrade after six months. No restaurant on site to enjoy breakfast or any other meals! Room service not available. Filthy dirty lifts shared with workmen. What a joke.

This hotel is horrible, its overpriced aircon useless pity anybody staying in summer ,fridge barely keeps things cold ,no restaurant and staff seem an unhappy bunch overall a big disappointment also had to pay on top of $700 for 3 days a $150 fee for carparking as none on site would recommend going elsewhere this is a blatant rip off...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
