Great location! Perfect for a couple of days in the Sydney CBD. Our room was excellent with a kitchenette, table and chairs, lounge as well as a comfortable bed and good bathroom. The staff on the reception desk were very helpful.

We booked well ahead of travel dates so secured a great price. The reception and housekeeping staff very friendly and helpful and quick to provide any extras we needed. Best location for all attractions and shops and also for trains, with Museum station just up the road. We had a triple room which was spacious and our stay there was...

Hotel is walking distance to several locations of interest, e.g. Chinatown, Koreatown, Hyde Park, and the CBD. Its proximity to the Museum Railway Station is also helpful when getting to and from the airport. Rooms are a reasonable size though cleanliness might be subpar occasionally. Staff is very helpful and polite.

Stayed 3 nights for business. Didn't want to spend a fortune so this hotel is reasonable for the money. Only real problem was the bed. The springs on 1 side were completely gone...I had to sleep on the other side. No problem this time as by myself but if I'd been with my husband I would have had to request...

Rooms are great. Clean and cosy. In Room Wifi as well as in lobby could be improved. Location is 20 mins walk from International Convention Centre. Walkable distance to China Town and Coles Supermarket. There is a convenient store directly opposite the hotel in case you need anything.

This hotel was close to all we needs and within walking distance to the train station. It was clean, comfortable, quiet and we would not hesitate to stay there again should we need to stay in the city of Sydney.

I purchased a Groupon that included flights from the U.S. + hotel, and this was the hotel provided. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable, however wifi was expensive. There was also an issue with the elevators, which caused major wait times any time you wished to go down (stairs are for emergency only). Other than these two...

This is a good option if you want to stay close to town in a nice hotel without spending a bomb. There are compromises: a small lobby crowded with package tour tourists; the restaurant has an institutional feel but the food is fine; the lighting in the bathroom is a bit dim. On the plus side: there's free wifi in...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
