We stayed at the Travelodge for 3 nights and it was great. Location was perfect, very short walking distance to public transportation and restaurants. We walked to the Sydney Harbour, Surry Hills and the Rocks from the hotel and it was an easy walk to each. Our room was clean and each staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful....

This hotel is very nice and clean. Stuff are very nice. Only negative thing is that the hotel only offers 100mb free internet or 9$/day. I find this too much. These days internet is very important. Even in Mexico every little hotel offers free internet.

We've stayed here on a number of occasions. The hotel is usually available at a good price, (at least by Sydney standards). The room is clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful. The location is probably its best point. It's an easy walk from Central Station, and to movie cinemas, Chinatown, Paddy's Market and light rail. The Wi-Fi...

Good position of the hotel in the city and close to everything. The room was clean but housekeeping standards were not up to standard. Every day I had to ring reception to ask for towels, flannels, coffee, toiletries. We were there for 6 nights and only on the last day did they get it right. Mentioned to reception on check...

A comfortable overall experience. Room was clean. Beds were comfortable. The free wifi was limited though (100mb per day). The hotel was located near the train station and cafes (all within walking distance) so it was convenient to get around. Would recommend this to anyone travelling to Sydney. :)

We had booked - via a booking site - a twin bedded room which was not available upon check-in. After some discussion a twin bedded room was produced. Room was alright, bathroom small (after all it's a Travelodge and not the Shangri-La) but only two towels available. The room was overpriced - like virtually all hotel rooms in Australia.

I stayed for 3 night at here, room is too old,bed is too small but breakfast is quite good. This hotel is located in a good location ,no traffic jam.I can go around Sydney very easy. I can go to shopping around this area by walking. However,if this hotel improve the bed and cleaness I think that is a perfect hotel.

Air conditioner in room not working properly, hot water in shower randomly turns off while showering. Moved to another room, toilet keeps running with water after flushing, was fixed but issue remained. Very disappointing Travelodge!

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
