Front desk staff were wonderful and accommodating. They were also able to help with directions and changing my check out time which was very much appreciated. The room was very spacious and modern with a great layout. Excellent bed with high quality bedding. Good temperature control. Bathroom was clean and functional. Very large TV! Great location with lots of good...

Our first impression of Rydges were very positive. We were met by friendly and polite staff and the lobby signaled that the place had style. Then we got our room. It was a twin king size bedroom to our family with two adults, a six year old and an infant. Neithless to say that we had to little space. To...

Sorry to hear of a less than satisfactory experience with us, Yekohan. I assume that there was a misunderstanding as our baby cots have been provided to the guests without extra charges in last 2 years. The price for $80.00 per night is for rollaway bed. We're sorry for the mix up. In regards to room service, I will pass...

Great location, bed was amazing, room service and food exceptional. Stayed for business and if the cost of the room was a little cheaper would stay again if on holiday in Sydney. Worth staying if cost is not a problem.

Stayed here on a business trip. Walked down from a meeting in Hyde Park past some swanky hotels to the less glamorous end of Pitt St. Took the escalators up to the lobby where the check-in staff were polite and friendly and very helpful. Bedroom was clean, large and very comfortable. Good bed. Bathroom with bath and separate shower. Views...

We arrived early 10.30am and we managed to get into our room early which was good considering we came down from the Central Coast and we were upgraded to the 18th Floor with a beautiful room with plenty of space and room. The Sphere Dining room was delicious for breakie and the bar was great for quick drink with our...

If you're after a stay in the middle of shops and restaurants then this location is amazing. The rooms are fairly modern, although my bed was a bit soft and seemed to slope sideways - my other family members had great beds so maybe just unlucky. The lifts are fast and plentiful - a big plus in a hotel with...

We arrived very early and were pleased we could have our room straight away.it was good but the blinds wouldn't' open properly. There was still renovation going on but the service was great. Breakfast was good but the leather chairs were very worn. The associated bar restaurant was noisy and basic with a limited menu.

I'm quite liking Rydges properties. They're all pretty similar and generally are very price competitive within the 4* brands. This one is very much downtown Sydney. Not my usual locale but interesting nonetheless and good for my business meetings but would be great for holiday makers. Facilities are good and there's one thing I've noticed within the four Rydges I...

A vast improvement from our last stay. Staff were friendly and the rooms were a lot better. The rooms have had a makeover and it shows. We arrived very early and were given a room straight away and bags taken to our room for us. Will stay again.

I was the speaker at a conference and stayed here for one night with breakfast. I thought the hotel was lacking any sort of wow - almost a bit a tired. The minibar in the room was noisy as was the air conditioner. The breakfast was very average. What I did like was plenty of seating areas in reception to...

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
