We stayed on top floor, hotel was quiet and clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Probably look at replacing mattress but ok, shower could do with a little more pressure but still ok. Overall pleased for price point and would happily stay again.

I had a very nice stay at the Travelodge in Sydney. The breakfast was a great way to start my day of tours and travels around the Sydney area. My room was always clean and ready for me each night. I also found the location to be great as it was close to where all my tours started off from.

Very good price ratio and just across the train station and cafés. Few minutes to walk for every interesting points. Fridge in the room so important to keep few things to eat nearby and a nice cool bottle of wine when you come back after a long strenuous visiting day. I definitely would return.

The hotel is a little tired. I would go back when it has be upgraded. It was not cheap but inexpensive. The position is great for access to Darling Harbour and the Rocks areas. The air con unit in our room was way too noisy and we had to turn it off to be able to sleep, which meant we...

Deteriorating with time since I last stayed there. Massive renovation had little effect - invisible to me as a business traveller. Poor quality food & service in Restaurant badly let down the Hotel. "Fire that chef" and get in people who know how to cook, present and serve food; not cheap agency staff fulfilling low yield contracts

Value and location excellent. Breakfast was included in our package, but if I had to pay $25 for it, which was the going rate, I wouldn't have been happy. Room was small but clean. Close to train station.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
