The location of this hotel is great and the staff are helpful! Checkin and out was very easy. The room is a good size and nice and clean, the Bathroom is adequate for 2 people. My only problem is the very hard bed and uncomfortable pillow made sleeping impossible! If these were upgraded it would be a great place to...

My husband and I stayed here while sightseeing in Sydney. Proximity to the train station made it an excellent location, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Over all it was a good value for the money, but the wifi was extremely slow, and we were not happy with the fact that our king size bed felt like two...

What a brilliant place, clean modern quiet and well maintained, also incredibly central to all the main areas of Sydney's CBD tourist attractions such as the harbour bridge, circular quay, the opera house the rocks area and the cinema area plus of course China town and darling harbour. On checkin the receptionist figured out it was my birthday, so without...

We had to change rooms, as the one we were given smelled of damp and mold. They wanted to just spray the room. The whole hotel needs a deep clean. We then had to put up with the constant noise of the elevator motors. In room dinning was offered, but only if you went down to the lobby and collected...

Best value for money hotel in the Sydney cbd. Close to everything! Short distance walk to darling harbour or circular quay and only couple hundred metres to a train station. Service is good and would definitely recommend.

Central location, friendly staff and good value for money. We went for a 3 day visit to Sydney for the football and enjoyed our stay. Check in was a little difficult but mainly our fault. Easy walk to Circular Quay and all the ferries

Spent 6 nights in this motel. If you fly into Sydney, it is really easy to catch a train to Wynard station and it's only a 50 meter walk to the motel. It's very centrally located to most attractions, eg, Circular Quay, Darling Harbour, Star Casino complex and central shopping centre along George St. There are also many restaurants, pubs...

All good except the mould. Service was great, staff are friendly. Food was nice. Not far to walk to shops, circular quay, darling Harbour. Can get the train from airport straight through to wynyard with the travellodge just across the road.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
