Room was big, bed was very comfy. Staff lovely. Can't recommend this hotel highly enough. Fantastic location. Handy for everything. Would recommend upgrading to a club room as the advantages are really worth the extra.

Great hotel with fantastic executive rooms including lounge access - well worth paying the extra. Lovely breakfast choices, all day refreshments and evening drinks (including champagne) and canapés! Great location.

A large modern hotel with all the comforts you need. Spacious and comfortable rooms. The club services (lounge, breakfast, laundry) are very convenient when you’re in for a longer stay. Very friendly and professional staff, especially the reception and concierge. The hotel is located right across the street of the Darling Harbour Centre. You’ll find an Explorer stop there as... Was only there overnight for a conference but the rooms were very spacious and beds were very comfortable - bathrooms could do with a makeover and get rid of the sandstone marble/granite look, as it doesn't blend well with the modern grey tones. Didn't get to do much else due to work commitments

We had a one night layover in Sydney before heading back home and were booked into this hotel. Bad mistake. What we hadn't been told was there was a Christmas party being held in the hotel, in the central atrium of the hotel which meant the loud, banging music and people shouting could be heard throughout the hotel. The floor... More

This hotel was booked for me on a business trip as being more cost effective than others so I was not expecting a great experience. However - I was really impressed and will definitely return. Reception was perhaps the friendliest I've encountered, room was great, smallish but well appointed, with free wifi too. And It was also quiet which given... More

We stayed at the Park royal for one night before going on a cruise. The Hotel is luxurious and the staff are fantastic. Really great location. The room had two double beds and was really clean and extremely comfortable. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights pre cruise. The staff are not very helpful. We paid for an upgrade, the view looked onto apartment blocks, which had a good view into our room. The cooked breakfast was COLD, so asked for a fresh hot one. How hard is that... I'm sure for the money there are better hotels, just wish... More

Breakfast was varied and of very good quality . The bar / restaurant had a good atmosphere and fantastic food quality . The concierge service was great. This hotel really is four star !

Two weeks before this I stayed at the Intercontinental for $350 a night and it was amazing. It was now fully booked so I decided to try the Park Royal as the website indicated that it was right on Darling Harbour. I chose the most expensive option, Harbour view with Club facilities at the outrageous price of $600 a night,... More

Dear frankfurness, Thank you for taking the time to share your review following your stay with us. I sincerely apologise that your room on this occasion has been somewhat lacklustre and that... More

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
