Our first time in Sydney and our first time staying in any Amora Hotel. We really liked this hotel. The downtown location was great. The room was large and comfortable. The bathroom was quite large. Staff were very helpful and attentive. We would stay again if/when we visit Sydney.

We found the hotel staff to be very welcoming and helpful. The hotel was clean and fresh and we slept soundly. It is centrally located within easy walking distance to Circular Quay and many restaurants. We will definitely stay there again.

Walking distance to both the Circular Quay and Darling Harbor. Gives multiple places for dinners, great sunsets and shops. Rooms are updated. They provide US electric converters if anyone forgets theirs (like me). Great Spa, workout area and indoor pool. Very quiet rooms for those early jet lagged evenings!!

The room was very clean, tv a great size and room service meal excellent. The service and quality are everything you would expect from a 5star hotel. I travel to Sydney each week for work and other hotels of comparable quality are at least $50/night more expensive.

Business trip for me, shopping for my wife and very conveniently located for both. Facilities as you would expect of five star hotel. This one doesn't go over the top with sycophancy, which suits me fine. Room immaculately clean comfortable and quiet. Staff willing to accommodate our unusual hours Car ready by 5am to drive to rowing training

Booked two double deluxe rooms that each slept four however both rooms only had two coffee cups, two wine glasses and two towels. We had to request extras. Beds are super soft and not so great but the staff were excellent.

This is our second time at the Amora. We book it because it's close to Quay . Close access to the bridge for leaving Sydney. Comfy beds and pillows. Wonderful deep bath to relax in after walking around The Rocks/Quay.Breakfast buffet well catered for.

Perfect location, great facilities with Spa , indoor Pool , sauna and steam room as well as fitness centre. Only thing that was below par was the bed, putting two beds together never seems to get a great result for sleeping

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
The Sydney Central Business District is abuzz with energy. Power brokers run to and from high rise buildings and after-work drink places, high-end shoppers tour venues like the QVB, and fine diners frequent the many celebrity chef restaurants. For a dose of culture, walk to the NSW Art Gallery, or visit the Sydney Museum. To escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature at the Sydney Botanical Gardens or picnic lunch at High Park. No matter your interest, be sure to check the full calendar of events hosted by the city, from the Sydney Festival in January to October’s Good Food Month at Hyde Park.
