Just disgusting. There were bugs crawling all over the walls, in the bathroom sink, and the best part..on my toothbrush. Got out of there as soon as possible and booked the rest of my trip at another hostel. I really highly recommend avoiding this place at all costs. The staff was nice and I didn't really have any other problems...

We came in the Hostel and it smelled horrible. The room was full of mold and we couldn't open the windows. We run away as fast as we could. At least the receptionist was nice, but seem not pretty shocked that we wanted to leave

I don't usually bother reviewing places on here but I think this one calls for a review. DIre alarm sounded at 4:30am, went on for a what felt like AGES! Went off, on again, then on in another part of the building. No instructions on what to do, where to go etc. I rang reception and they said "Oh sorry...

Don't waste your time or money here. Rooms are stinking. Bathrooms are stinking. Sticky carpets. Unclean kitchen. The couldn't even be bothered to invest In a proper sponge to clean pots and pans with. No atmosphere. Lift was broken - had 9 flights of stairs to walk up (that smelt of p**s). Door on "en suite" bathroom was broken so...

Great Hostel where it is easy to connect and to make new friends! I stayed here for 5 days and really enjoyed my time here. My room was clean and big enough and I never saw a dirty kitchen (Except for 8-12pm on Friday night, but guess why ... :-P) Staff is very friendly and respectful. Thanks to John the...

I initially booked a bed in a dorm with twelve other people. After suffering a 14 hour flight from Chile, I just wanted to sleep as the plane was awful. When i arrived on the 20th of May on the Saturday night, i was met with hoards of young drunk backpackers. I decided on seeing this mayhem booked a double...

Westend backpackers boasted a good location on Pitt St, walking distance to major attractions like the harbour and circular quay. It was also very close to central station. The staff were friendly and helpful and communal areas were kept clean and tidy. I stayed in The Church, the 32 bed dorm and fortunately it was not full, however it wasn't...

They upgraded me for free which was awesome. The crowd was the best part, so many cool people. I made heaps of friends. Rooms are more than adequate for what you pay. Maybe needs a free breakfast but other than that just do it

The hostel's location is just brilliant, 3-5mins walk from Central Station and minutes away from a huge selection of eateries, and supermarket, Coles. The hostel has a pretty steep stairs, but there's also a squeaky elevator, so not too shabby. There are some graffiti on the walls, pretty welcoming, I think, and the reception staff are very helpful. You can...
