Stayed here at the Blue parrot at two different times and each time I had a fantastic time. The staff really knows their stuff and can help you plan out all of your trips and activities while finding you pretty good deals. The atmosphere at the hostel is very relaxed and it even feels like a family. They sometimes even...

Had a great stay here! The hostel is well maintained, clean and everyone is friendly so it was easy to meet others. The staff are like no other, always offer to help and offer you anything you might need. A tip- I booked on the blue parrot website and got some discounts when I arrived which was a nice bonus.

Stayed here for 5 nights on my way down the East Coast and it was one of the best places I stayed in during my two months in Australia. Essentially a converted Victorian-esque house, it had an awesome homely feel to it, with lovely staff and a really chilled-out atmosphere that felt like being back at university, but with strangers...

We booked this hostel for a 5 nights stay because of its convenient location. However, it is one of the worst accommodation which we have been. Cons: - Bedbugs !! - Smelly toilets - Filthy kitchen with dishes unwashed all the time - wifi that logs you out every 15 mins - main gate card access that isn't stable The...

Normally I would stay only 2 weeks at the Blue Parrot but I had extended for 2 weeks more!! People are very nice, friendly and when you are alone, it's very easy to meet other people who are in the same situation. If you need any information, you just have to ask to the reception to have an answer. The...

I had a brilliant time at this hostel, it's full of friendly travellers! The hostel is like a huge house, bedrooms upstairs, kitchen, living room etc downstairs - and it works really well! The hostel is only about 15 minutes walk from the Opera House. The hostel is clean and tidy with comfy beds. There's also an outdoor space to...

Had a blast here while visiting Sydney. Met loads of cool like-minded people, the accommodation was always very clean and kingscross station is just around the corner but I walked almost everything. Would recommend for sure! Thanks BP crew!

This hostel is located really centrally in Sydney, which makes it very easy to get around from place to place. I found the staff and boarders to be very friendly and helpful. The room I stayed in was clean and because of the friendly atmosphere, I didn't have to worry about leaving things out in case of theft. The common...

Thank you for your feedback! We are happy you enjoyed the cleanliness of the rooms, our social atmosphere & found everyone to be friendly. Hygiene is of the utmost importance to us and we clean the bathrooms a few times during the day and re-stock the toilet rolls. We are sorry if staff missed re-stocking your bathroom on the night...
