I stayed for about a week and the lovely guys working there were always so nice and helpful. Showed us some tours to take and places to go to make our stay worth while. It is a 2 star hotel saying that you get the best of the best for what you're paying for. Great location. Basically next to the...

This place doesn't even look like a hostel. Reception looks like a storage room and is closed at night, the place has 3 floors with no elevator, shower and toilet (if you get an ensuite) are tiny! Also, to add some fun, there was a "mix up" with my reservation so they didn't have an ensuite room like I booked,...

We had a 1 nite stay here. Though its a lil bit cramp for a nite, we had a good nap. The shared bathroom was clean and everything is OK! Adrian was really helpful and the rest of the chaps. And Adrian you can put up a few hooks for hanging clothes. We certainly will comeback if we are in...

Perfect if you're on a budget but want your own room. Free breakfast to get your day started, 200mb free wifi which I'm sure is enough for most people as you tend to want to be outside most of the time in Sydney. Showers are warm and powerful. Beds were comfy and room had its own TV. Would stay again.

This is not a hotel, its a hostel. Stayed here for 1 night, which was 1 night too many. On arrival the manager/owner was unhelpful and very slow at checking us in - we were waiting over 20 minutes and he also told us we had to pay 25$ for their parking despite not being informed when we had enquired...

It was my third time in Sydney and for long the best place where i stayed. Clean bedroom with clean sheets, bathrooms normal cleaning for a hostel. Great breakfast in the morning. Very cheap and lovely and attentive staff. I'll be back for sure!

Each morning a girl clean the bathrooms but everytime that I had shower I found the floor not clean with the same empty shampoo bottle and its lid on the floor ...in the same place. The room was ok but the smell not so fresh and clean, I think the smell come from the sink.

TV, Fridge and the bed is good. Close to train, supermarket. Night life area, prostitutes etc. Very dirty poorly maintained building, rooms and toilets are very dirty, stinky & poorly maintained. Our Request to cancel the booking & refund rejected. Very small dirty kitchen, breakfast is nothing but a joke. Noisy narrow corridors with loud door banging noises. No cupboards...

I was looking for something cheap but comfortable. I do not want to be too tough on the Highfield but unfortunately it is what it is. It is a very old building, probably 1920s or 30s, and you can tell. The room number was taped to the floor, outside the door, written on a piece of yellow paper in black felt...
