The images of the Springfield lodge indicate a better quality lodge then it is in reality. On the image of the outside you see a terrace which does not belong to the lodge. You have to pass the cafe to which that terrace belong to get into the lodge itself. Rooms are very simple: almost bare. Basement rooms have just...

Clean and tidy... Modern with old charms. Bathroom was tiny if you were on the larger size good luck. Location great although if you are a light sleeper like myself you may not get much sleep as I experienced.

The room is clean and big but bathroom is a bit small. A bit noisy as you can hear sounds from the other rooms. Good location as it is very near to Kings Cross Station. Hotel provide free wifi at 500mb per day.

Booked 2 rooms for 3 nights. My mums room was fine. The other room was disappointing, the kettle spout was dirty on arrival and left white floating bits on the drinks. I took it down to reception and the night manager did lend me the staff kettle and advised it would be rectified the following day. On retiring to my...

I spent 6 nights at the Springfield Lodge in Sydney in November 2016. I stayed in a room on the top (4th) floor. As mentioned by other reviewers one has to walk up one flight on a narrow staircase. No big deal if you have reasonable size luggage. And yes the room is small; at 6 ft tall when sitting...

We had our own room, with own bathroom and own fridge. Then there was a common kitchen area to cook breakfast and other meals. The room was clean up every day and there was free shampoos, soaps etc. There was friendly staff in the reception. The lodge offered an airport shuttle for 14 AUD. The location of the lodge was...

Would highly recommend the hotel to anyone popping into Sydney for a short visit. The lodge was very central, very close to Kings Cross Station. The reception lady was very friendly and helpful in arranging the airport shuttle for us. Check in and check out of the room was of no issue. Our room 208 was clean and comfortable. The...

Ok Sydney is HORRIBLY exey when it comes to accommodation - finding anything inner city for under $150 a night is nigh impossible. Springfield Lodge is fine if you are not going to need to spend too much time in your room (tiny) and a bit of noise doesn't bother you (pipes!)...oh don't even think about relying on the wifi...
