We stopped here overnight as a short detour on a drive from Uluru up to Alice Springs, giving us an opportunity to visit Kings Canyon. As virtually the only non-camping accommodation option within a 300km radius we automatically went with this resort. Overall, we enjoyed the relaxed and tranquil setting, and the fairly basic style of accommodation and its surrounds...

King's Canyon Resort hosted us as part of their tour which includes transport from Yulara (the accommodation near Uluru), a fantastic aboriginal cultural experience with Karrke, a guided tour of the rim walk of King's Canyon, lunch and overnight accommodation at their resort. The food and accommodation was really good and I note that some people feel that it is...

Awesome location. Unique and exceptional resort. An oasis in the desert. After travelling 350klms on red dirt corrugated road, Kings Canyon provided a wonderfully relaxing comfortable stay. King Spa room was everything I expected with the layout of the room providive privacy and quite.

We didn't know what to expect here as we were a captive audience and there was not much more accommodation around, but we were pleasantly surprised. We had a standard room with en-suite. It was clean, spacious and comfortable. It had a very pleasant deck to sit out on and look at the stars. There was a "Rim" walk, and...

As others have said, the price of the hotel rooms are very overpriced for what's on offer. We paid $379 for what is essentially a 3.5 star hotel room. I understand it's in a remote area and everything has to be transported in, but it does seem OTT. The room itself was a good size, bed was comfortable and shower...

Stuck with this property as there are very limited to none option to choose from. Again, another issue of unbalanced supply vs demand. The management doesn't seem to care on uplifting the quality of its property and its service. Room looked very very tired. Shower doesn't work properly like very little water comes out from the head. The hot water...

Ideal place to stay between Alice Springs and Ayres Rock if intending to visit Kings Canyon. Lovely spot to view the sunrise and sunset with a drink or two. Staff very friendly and many different options for eating as well as a small supermarket if you are camping.

Kings canyon itself is worth the effort, it's different from Uluru and the rim walk is a thoroughly enjoyable day. A stay at the resort then is almost essential for at least one night. We stayed for two. It was ok, but to call it a resort is misleading - it's a campground with some comfortable chalets add in. The...

As part of our Outback Experience we were booked into the Kings Canyon Resort for one night. The room was clean and comfortable, albeit a little distance from Reception and the bistro. Our tour guide organised our check in and check out, so we had no contact with the staff. The bistro was busy, but the wait for our food...

Fantastic accommodation in a remote area which is very close to magnificent scenery at Kings Canyon and Kathleen springs. Set up of motel rooms and cleanliness could not be faulted. Food and drink services located just a short walk away. Fuel and food supplies also in same area.

Thank Paul S
