We had a great time at Sails and cannot fault the staff. They were both Australian and from overseas and all were helpful and polite. Our plane arrived in the morning so the room wasn't ready - we had a car so just headed off to the rock and they called when ready. A lot of people seemed to be...

Having lived in Australia for the past 11 year, I have finally made it to the Red Centre of Australia. And what an amazing adventure it was! I came during Australian Summer and did expect high temperature, so no surprises there. By 10am it was already 42C and probably got down to 26C during the night time. I stayed at...

Arrived as part of tour with AAT, warm welcome and given early check in. Supreme room on ground floor, clean spacious and luxurious, great facilities and services, free guest laundry, late check-out, buffet dining was excellent, our Mancunian server was really helpful. Left luggage guy was great, we would recommend

Hotel that is only surviving as it one of the very few hotels near Uluru - if it didn't have a captive audience, it would have closed ages ago. Very expensive for a run down place. Front of house staff good - the rest very very poor. Shame as the area is magnificent.

Whilst there a a few minor aspects of this hotel that could do with some upgrading it did not deter from the overall excellent experience. Some of the negative reviews i read before visiting were a little over the top in my opinion.

The hotel is well placed, well run but in danger of getting too big. The quickest way to reach the hotel proper was to jump over a wall into a staff car park and go through the front entrance, this saved about three minutes in the blazing sun. So saying we would probably stay there again if in the area.

As a group of six (3 couples) we stayed at Sails in the Desert over the new year weekend. We were lucky enough to be there just after the heavy rains, everything was lush and green. The hotel was clean, up-to-date and the staff were very friendly and efficient. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable (with views of the...

My Husband and I had a 3 night stay at the end of November for the 'Field of Lights Dinner'. Check in was smooth however our room wasn't ready so we sat by the pool and ordered lunch. Whilst waiting we got a call to say our room was ready which was on the ground floor overlooking the pool area....
