Arriving at the Desert Gardens Hotel, we found they have a central car park that is quite a way, away from the accommodation. They do have a golf cart available (if you ask and they drive it) to transport your luggage to your room. We opted for the room with a view of Uluru, which didn't disappoint. The room was...

Uluru is absolutely stunning, but there isn't too much to do if you're not on an outing. Desert Gardens provided tvs to entertain, as well as a small gift shop, pool and interesting places to explore. It was well kept and the staff were lovely. I would definitely stay here again.

This was a stopover on our three-day tour of Ayers Rock and King's Canyon (day 1) and it was helpful. The hotel is nicely laid out with basic rooms; however, it does offer excellent restaurants and grocery stores (that close at 9pm). The room was decent (usual stuff -bed and shower) and I was quite happy with it. I especially...

We stayed for three nights and would highly recommend the Hotel and facilities. Lots of good dining options for all tastes and budgets. We went on the camel sunset tour, which was a great and magically experience. We also did the dot painting, again a very informative and enjoyable experience. Walk around the Rock and not over it!!!

The positives: the free airport shuttle bus to and from airport, the free link road shuttle within the resort (not that we used it as all restaurants etc in walking distance), good service from reception and housekeeping staff, large room and large bathroom, 'rock view room' is as advertised. The negatives : beds and pillows extremely uncomfortable, all rooms are...

We stayed at Desert Gardens for 3 night in the July school holidays with my two boys (11 & 14). We found the hotel to be well appointed, the staff were all helpful and friendly and the buffet breakfast was excellent. We tried a few different restaurants and were very impressed with the variety and quality of the food, again...

There is a complimentary shuttle from Ayers Rock hotel which went smoothly as did check in. The rooms were chalet style, clean and absolutely fine. The only minor gripe was that Houskeeping forgot to leave clean cups and replenish the tea and coffee when they serviced the room. This was a bit of an inconvenience as we returned late from...

Due to the monopoly Voyages has over the entire Yulara complex, you cannot expect any kind value for money near Uluru. In saying that, we did expect that the hotel kept a 4 1/2 star standard, which it marketed itself to be. Unfortunately, what we received is at most a 3 star hotel at an international level with hyper inflated...

Hi Li Z Thank you for your feedback. I am disappointed to hear that you did not enjoy all of your unique desert experience that Ayers Rock Resort offers. As I am sure you can appreciate , to compare our costs to those of capital city hotels is a little unfair ! Due to transport costs , out prices will...

Stayed here with friends for two nights. Rooms are good and ours had a view of Uluru in the distance. Rooms are clean, well kept and comfortable with good toiletries provided. The rooms are spread out over the grounds so it can be quite a walk to the restaurants or village square where there are some shops. There is a...

Was not the most beautiful, but that said, it was perfectly fine for only 2 nights there. And we definitely think 2 nights is the perfect amount at ayers rock. The hospitality was good and they upgraded us to a slightly nicer room for our honeymoon. The weather was unusually cold if you can believe it and we needed our...
