We stayed at the desert gardens hotel in the Ayers Rock resort for three days, the staff were friendly at check in but the rooms were old and in need of refurbishment and the kettle in our room blew a fuse so we were left without power. The dining options varied but were very expensive, even considering the cost of...

Strict 1500 check-in and 1000 check-out policy adopted. The room was clean and spacious, beds comfortable and had a large modern bathroom. Room was expensive like the rest of Yulara and NT but the bonus view of the rock made it special. Tours from Yulara are expensive and may be worth considering car hire from the airport or Yulara town...

You're captive in Uluru with only one accommodation provider with half a dozen options of varying quality and price. This monopoly seems to allow them to get away with overcharging for what they offer. This hotel that claims to be 41/2 star but in terms of quality I would rate it about 3. The rooms are very tired and due...

On our way back from Darwin we thought we would stay at Ayres rock for a few days. We booked at the Desert Gardens Hotel, it was quiet expensive but we thought we would treat ourselves. The room was very overpriced for what it is, we booked for 3 adults and 2 kids but there was only stuff in the...

Desert Gardens is part of a series of hotels all located at the same spot near Uluru. Desert gardens is a middle of the road room, Sails is the slightly classier and Emu Walk is slightly lower. The desert gardens is ok, rooms are comfortable enough. The resort itself is nice, a few dining variants to suit different budgets, but...

We had a great stay at the Desert Gardens. The rooms we had were great with views looking straight at the rock. Excellent viewing of an afternoon on the balcony watching the sunset. The overall resort setup was great and easy to get around. Didn't use the dining at Desert Gardens - went for more casual dining else where which...

We had a wonderful time at Uluru. The Desert Gardens was clean, quiet and friendly. Loved how you could walk between the different accomodations and share their restaurants and stores. There wasn't anything the staff couldn't help with and did so in a friendly way. I recommend a stay here to all.

Stayed two nights at Desert Gardens. Hotel was OK but a bit tired although comfortable and good shower. Considering that the Hotel has around 500 rooms and they turn them around quickly due to the high rate of visitors to the area it was what you expect in the desert. Not very friendly for impaired or elderly as there are...

First place I have ever been that had GENUINE people working reception... they were all warm and lovely throughout our stay of three nights. Our room was standard and then there was a wee garden outside ... it had some rubbish still there... hadn't been checked. Some of the garden areas needed work, plants had died and not been replaced,...

Just at ayers resort for three days doing olgas and Uluru with our teenagers Apart from the fact that all the tours here are extortionate the hotel booked from Scotland was and is great value for money. A lovely resort hotel with swimming pool and a great laid back ambience. Hotel staff are really helpful and I would well recommend...
