My family of four stayed here for Christmas, upon arrival we were absolutely disgusted at the state of the room, the room was nothing like the pictures displayed on their website, the furniture was outdated and stained the carpets were filthy,it appeared the room had not been cleaned for a long time. The aircon was filthy dirty with mould it...

I stayed here in June 2016 for 7 nights. Towards the end the housekeeper came in and changed the sheets and obviously took away the used ones along with one of my dresses. The woman in reception has no interest in anything anyone has to say including the customers. When I said that one of my dresses went missing after...

Our experience was great except disappointment of pool area being renovated. Manager Jason is a lovely bloke. Our room was perfect, except for maybe some cleaning above eye level (eg a/con vents). Great price considering the location. Ask for Unit 45 if you want to ensure a quality apartment. Definetely recommend

Overall, the interior is a little dated and could do with an upgrade. Service from Jason and the support staff was great and for the price it was all good considering the central location. Shame the pool was closed for maintenance but happy to recommend.

I was in a group of people booking 2 apartments in Darwins MARRAKAI apartments. I can only reiterate what other reviewers have said. "Luxury" should definitely be taken out of description. We booked based on the website photos which were very impressive. We arrived to find sliding doors to the balcony that were extremely difficult to open, outdated and dirty...

These are certainly not luxury apartments. My review is best summarized under Pros and Cons. Pros - excellent location within walking distance of the CBD and close to public transport. Really well designed apartments. Ours was two bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen and laundry, excellent view from the wrap around verandah and very quiet. Cons - very tired rooms that urgently...

Arrives 6:30pm, to find that the reception is only manned 8 to 4, remembering it is the high season right now, so there is a box which is supposed to contain a phone (it doesn't ) inside the box is a phone number which you ring, this number goes to a Queensland call centre, which took 15 minutes before I...

I never reply to people reviews they are allowed there point of view. You where an angry little man before arriving. Our office hours are clearly on the website, these are self contained apartments. At $220 a night in the middle of July is a fair price. You can pay more and have a 24/7 reception if you wish, its...

Middle of dry season with two bedroom apartment availability for 10 days with 4 days notice - we were so glad to get a room here. It is very comfortable, central to all of our needs in Darwin and so competitive on price. Don't expect your dishes washed and linen changed daily - if you are happy to live in...

We stayed at Marrakai apartments for 9 days and the room was clean and had everything you could need. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly! It is just a short walk to the CBD. As we arrived and left in the middle of the night I had rung to work out how to get access to our apartment and...

I think this apartment block should remove Luxury from its title. The apartment we stayed in had not been renovated since it was built - 1980's. The kitchen cupboards were falling apart. I think the biggest problem I had was that the photos on the internet were of a renovated apartment, so that was not what I expected. This apartment...
