Kookaburra Inn is located about 10 minutes walk from Central Station. We had a double room with a small fridge and AC. All the amenities were nice and clean and the kitchen was well fitted out. We were made to feel very welcome by the owners. The hostel is located in a quiet street and within walking distance to both... More

This place was so calming and relaxing. I was welcomed and made to feel at home. Such was this place I will gladly stay there again. We booked one double room for 1 night. The room comes with a small fridge, a small sink, a fan and towels. It is well organized and I wish all the hostels I have been were so nice. Bathroom and toilet were clean and just close by. There is a laundry area. The kitchen is cosy. You feel at home.... More

Your room is not like an expensive hotel, but it has little conveniences to make it easy (like places to hang clothes and towels or sit in the afternoon breeze). It's well set up for... More

Great price, great location. My room was immaculate (aside from some dust inside the ceiling fan) and Wendy is a real gem. I would certainly consider returning there on my next visit to Brisbane. Don't forget to say hello to Diesel, the bear-dog!

No frills lodging with a smile. It's basic. It's clean. Price is right. Wendy is super friendly. Location is good. Easily walk to Queen St or the riverfront. Grocery store 5 min walk. Central station 15 min walk. Roma St station 30 min walk.
