Fern Cottage is my first choice of accomodation when visiting Brisbane. The homely atmosphere, spotlessly clean environment and proximity to my favourite restaurants and shopping precincts makes it the ideal. And of course the four footed hosts are a big draw card as it feels even more like home.

A friend and I stayed in the balcony suite (owner's recommendation) and were unable to sleep due to the constant barking of the two dogs who lived at the B and B plus other nearby dogs who joined in. Also people passing by talking carried easily into the rooms. Breakfast is help yourself which I didn't expect and fairly basic.

It is disappointing that you didn't have the comfortable stay most of our guests have. As our dogs are housed in a separate building at the back of the property and are quite well behaved (we make sure they are!), I would suggest it may have been the neighborhood dogs. Double glazing is installed and if the doors were closed...

I stayed at Fern Cottage twice when having cataract surgery. The very caring hosts Geoff and Mary took wonderful care of me. They drove me to appointments, fed me excellent food and treated me like a family member. The location is very close to a shopping village with very good restaurants. I would recommend Fern Cottage to every-one!

Meeting Mary at the door, is the first sign it's going to be a great stay at Fern Cottage B&B- her warmth and hospitality starts the adventure. The décor in each room is so tastefully complete - it's all there..cosy bathrobes, quality lotions and potions and an invitation to make yourself at home. Breakfast is a treat and personally served...

My wife, Wendy, and I were in town for a conference, and our stay at Fern Cottage was unlike any stay (hotel or B&B) in all of our travels. Both Mary and Geoff were incredibly warm, personable and accommodating. While away to my business meetings, these folks actually drove Wendy to bus stops and helped guide her around Brisbane with...

I recently had a post medical stay with Mary and Geoff, words can not describe how helpful and caring they were towards me. The meals were of an exceptional standard. Mary and Geoff know exactly how to care and encourage you if you are post operative. Their knowledge of the various procedures also assists with answering any questions or concerns...

Just wanted to say what a great place Fern Cottage is. I would recommended it to anyone visiting Brisbane. Jim and Brandy make wonderful caretakers and were very warm and welcoming. The accommodation is beautiful and would come again and stay in a heart beat.

We had a lovely one night stay at this charming B & B in a wonderful part of Brisbane. The room was spacious and quiet with a nice outlook. The bed was comfortable and we both slept well. Breakfast was very nice and the hosts Jim and Brandy were extremely friendly and welcoming. We wouldn't hesitate to go there again...

Our second stay at this lovely b and b. We arrived as Mary and Geoff were off on holiday and Jim and Brandy took over. Mary could not have chosen better people to look after her b and b - both our visits have coincided with Jim and Brandy's. They are welcoming, fun and have a good knowledge of the...
