I stayed for a week in a one bedroom apartment. The location looked good and was quite convenient to China town and Brisnand CBD, however there was a lot of street noise including some type of recycling truck that would drop its load nearby at 4.30 most mornings. The venue itself is also not very accessible for people with mobility...

fantastic location in a quiet street; walking distance to CBD and Fortitude Valley: older style accommodation but very clean and comfortable; secure parking and pool; kitchen very well equipped; shopping complex (woolworths, bakery, pharmacy, subway, bottle shop, gym and doctors) only a few hundred meters away.

The 'welcome package' is 5 teabags, 4 milk tubs, the thinnest possible loo paper... no welcome note, no shampoo, no tissues, no Brisbane guide. The carpets and ceilings dirty, dust behind the bedside tables, potentially dangerous shower over bath, tv distorted, dripping tap, mould in shower, old sprung mattresses. Don't arrive out of reception hours (weekdays 8.30 to 5; not...

I arrived late after a plane delay, and was greeted by a clerk telling me how unimpressed he was with my late check-in. I didn't stay to see if the room was any good. I got in a cab and found a nice hotel right around the corner.

Stayed here for 4 days. We had bottom unit and found the noise from the road not too bad, but noise from other unit doors closing was very loud. Unit itself needs painting and carpet was dirty. Took about 10 minutes to walk to Queen St mall, woollies only down the road.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment with our colleague from Nepal. She had never seen a fully "self - contained" apartment before despite living in various countries previously. The fact it had all the things one needs to self cater etc was very impressive to her. It has easy access to the airport and city plus restaurants and cafés....
